Praying That God Will Start Speaking To You Clearly
Praying That God Will Start Speaking To You Clearly
Today, you need to pray that God will start speaking to you clearly. When God speaks, it is good to have a clear understanding of what He is saying. That will help your spiritual growth and it will guide you against the antics of the enemies. When Elijah was about to be taken to heaven by the chariot of fire, the sons of the prophet told Elisha about it. They said to him, “Do you know that your master will be taken away from you today.” Elisha responded to them that he knew and told them to be quiet. You can imagine that if Elisha did not know that Elijah was about to be taken away, he would have missed the opportunity to get a double portion of Elijah’s anointing.
Meanwhile, it is not enough for God to speak to you clearly. It is not enough for you to know the truth. What you do with the knowledge of the truth really matters. The sons of the prophet knew that God would take Elijah away but they had no expectation. They did not act on that knowledge. However, Elisha acted on the knowledge and he was able to get a double portion of the spirit and anointing of Elijah. As we pray today, God will start speaking to you clearly. However, what you do with what God told you is very important. You have to act on his instructions and you need to do his will. You need to take advantage of the information that God has given to you.
God Spoke To Moses Clearly and Face To Face
In the scenario of Moses, Aaron and Miriam, we realize that God rates His servants by the mode by which He speaks to them. Miriam was accusing Moses because he married a Cushite woman. However, while she was accusing Moses, she didn’t even address the real issue. Numbers 12:1-2 says, “Miriam and Aaron began to talk against Moses because of his Cushite wife, for he had married a Cushite. “Has the Lord spoken only through Moses?” they asked. “Hasn’t he also spoken through us?” And the Lord heard this.” If we read the subsequent verses in this chapter, we will realize that God was angry with them at the end of the day.
In Numbers 12:5-8, the scripture says, “ Then the Lord came down in a pillar of cloud; he stood at the entrance to the tent and summoned Aaron and Miriam. When the two of them stepped forward, he said, “Listen to my words: “When there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, reveal myself to them in visions, I speak to them in dreams. But this is not true of my servant Moses; he is faithful in all my house. With him I speak face to face, clearly and not in riddles; he sees the form of the Lord. Why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?”
Here, we realized that God distinguished Moses from Miriam and Aaron by the way He speaks to them. He speaks to Moses face to face. He speaks to Moses clearly and not in riddles. How is God speaking to you today? I pray that God will start speaking to you clearly in Jesus’ name.
God Can Still Speak To You Clearly
When God starts speaking to you clearly, you will not be in the dark. What is the essence of dreams that you don’t know the interpretation of? What is the essence of vision that you don’t understand its meaning? You can imagine that if king Pharaoh’s dreams had not been interpreted clearly by Joseph, the dreams would not have benefited the nation of Egypt. The kings in the book of Daniel placed emphasis on understanding their dreams and visions. They could kill their magicians and astrologers if they were unable to interpret the dreams. No wonder, they rewarded people like Daniel with automatic promotions, anytime they interpreted their dreams. I pray that God will start speaking to you clearly in Jesus’ name.
Numbers 24:2-4 has this to say about Balaam, that the prophecy of Balaam son of Beor is the prophecy of one whose eye sees clearly. This is the level you should be with God if you are going to walk in the supernatural. When you study the bible, you must understand it clearly. Many times, Jesus spoke in parables to others and gave the interpretation to His disciples. The Ethiopian eunuch was reading the bible but he did not understand. Due to his lack of understanding, he was not saved. God had to send Phillip to interpret what he was reading to him. The moment he understood, he was saved and he was baptized instantly. As we pray today, I pray that God will start speaking to you clearly in Jesus’ name.

Special Bible Passage
Numbers 12:1-6
Miriam and Aaron began to talk against Moses because of his Cushite wife, for he had married a Cushite. 2 “Has the Lord spoken only through Moses?” they asked. “Hasn’t he also spoken through us?” And the Lord heard this. 3 (Now Moses was a very humble man, more humble than anyone else on the face of the earth.)
4 At once the Lord said to Moses, Aaron and Miriam, “Come out to the tent of meeting, all three of you.” So the three of them went out. 5 Then the Lord came down in a pillar of cloud; he stood at the entrance to the tent and summoned Aaron and Miriam. When the two of them stepped forward, 6 he said, “Listen to my words: “When there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, reveal myself to them in visions, I speak to them in dreams.
Numbers 12:7-15
7 But this is not true of my servant Moses; he is faithful in all my house. 8 With him I speak face to face, clearly and not in riddles; he sees the form of the Lord. Why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?” 9 The anger of the Lord burned against them, and he left them. 10 When the cloud lifted from above the tent, Miriam’s skin was leprous—it became as white as snow. Aaron turned toward her and saw that she had a defiling skin disease, 11 and he said to Moses, “Please, my lord, I ask you not to hold against us the sin we have so foolishly committed.
12 Do not let her be like a stillborn infant coming from its mother’s womb with its flesh half eaten away.” 13 So Moses cried out to the Lord, “Please, God, heal her!” 14 The Lord replied to Moses, “If her father had spit in her face, would she not have been in disgrace for seven days? Confine her outside the camp for seven days; after that she can be brought back.” 15 So Miriam was confined outside the camp for seven days, and the people did not move on till she was brought back.
