Pray That God Will Visit You And Reveal His Divine Purpose
Today, we are going to pray that God will visit us and reveal His divine purpose. God has a purpose for everyone. Some don’t know the plan and purpose of God for their lives and therefore they live their lives purposelessly and without direction. How can a building be constructed without a plan? How can an organization succeed without a plan? If you don’t have a plan for your life you can not make constructive progress in life.
Some have plans for their lives but it is not God’s plan. Such people may succeed if they fulfill the wrong purpose only to get to heaven to hear God telling them, “That is not my plan for you”. However, the scriptures admonish us to trust in the Lord with all our heart and not to lean on our understanding. When you lean just on your understanding, you are not working according to God’s plans and purpose. You need to acknowledge God in all your ways so that He can direct your path.
Moses Fulfilled His Divine Purpose
Moses was tending the flock of his father-in-law Jethro before God met him. He would have died as a mere Shepherd and not understand God’s divine purpose. Look at all the exploits that Moses did. You can imagine what would have happened if he did not understand God’s divine plans and purpose for his life. That is why it is very important to understand God’s plans and purpose. Moses was not even praying when God visited him. The divine visitation that Moses experienced was a result of the cry of the Israelites to God when they were tired of their bondage. Do you also want God to reveal His divine purpose to you? You can pray to God now and He will reveal it to you.
Gideon Fulfilled His Divine Purpose
Gideon was a frustrated farmer who was incessantly experiencing the attack of the Midianites during the time of harvest. The angel of God appeared to him and revealed his divine purpose to him. He was supposed to lead the Israelites and deliver them from the hands of the Medianites. The Medianites were like a devourer to the Israelites who would normally allow the Israelites to stress themselves with the rigor of planting and cultivating the field, only to wait till the time of harvest to destroy whatever they had planted. However, the moment Gideon discovered his divine purpose, the harassment was over. God used Gideon to defeat the Midianites.

12. Father, I pray that your plans for my life will stand firm forever. Lord, I pray that your divine purpose for my life will stand firm through all generations in Jesus’ name.

13. Father, I pray that in all things you will work for my good in Jesus’ name. Thank you Jesus because I have been called according to your divine purpose. Father, I pray that you will give me the grace to fulfill your plans and divine purpose for my life in Jesus’ name

Father, I pray that what you have said about me shall stand and what you have planned, that I will do in Jesus’ name.
