• It is a glimpse of what is going to ultimately happen in heaven when people from different nations, different cultures, different tribes and tongues will gather together to worship God forever

Revelation 7:9-11 (NIV)

After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. 10 And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.” 11 All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God

What is the Genesis of different languages?

According to the scriptures, the whole world formerly had one language. God confused human language when the planned to build a tower that we reach to heaven because they were unwilling to scatter abroad and replenish the earth as the Lord commanded Adam when he created man

Genesis 11:8-9

So the Lord scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city. 9 That is why it was called Babel—because there the Lord confused the language of the whole world. From there the Lord scattered them over the face of the whole earth.
