Who We Are

1n 1996 after seeking the face of God for three days. God gave our Lead Pastor, James Kayode Olusoji, the mandate to reach out to the world through songs and groom the true worshippers who will worship God in Spirit and in truth.

God told him that the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak and not lie. Though it tarries, he was told to wait for it because the vision will surely come and not tarry.

He ventured into the music ministry in 1999 and focused mainly on the first part of the mandate. Over the years, the Holy Spirit had been speaking to him that the assignment is in two folds and he had only concentrated on just one aspect of the mandate which is “reaching out to the world in songs”. God has spoken to him on several occasions and sent many people to him about the call into the pastoral assignment, which is a reality he did not want to face or agree with.

In December 2019, God instructed him that he should wait upon Him in fasting and prayers for 100 days so that He can reveal the next level in ministry to him. This was done in obedience to God. On the 22nd of June 2020, God told him that it was time to start the next phase of the mandate and showed the urgency of executing this assignment. He instructed him to groom the true worshippers who will worship God in Spirit and in truth.

After this experience, in obedience to the voice of God, Bethel Kingdom City Church, BKCC, was born. God said that BKCC will be a place where humanity will encounter the Divinity and a place where the natural will experience the Supernatural. God has been confirming His words and as you plan to be a part of the move of God in BKCC, we pray that you will experience God in a unique and supernatural way.

Some of the scriptures that God gave to validate this mandate are: John 4: 20-24, Isaiah 60; Isaiah 61 and Habakkuk 2:2-3.
