We create an atmosphere of worship that ushers in the presence of God and an environment that is conducive for you to serve. Our Story
How it all Began
At that time, the Lord made it clear that the vision was for an appointed time—that though it might seem delayed, it would surely come to pass. He was instructed to wait patiently, with the assurance that the vision would speak in its season and would not fail (Habakkuk 2:2–3).
In obedience to the first phase of this mandate, Pastor James stepped fully into music ministry in 1999, focusing on reaching the world through worship and songs inspired by the Spirit. Over the years, however, the Holy Spirit continued to impress upon him that the assignment was twofold. While he had faithfully pursued the music ministry, the second aspect—the pastoral calling to raise true worshippers—remained unfulfilled. On several occasions, God confirmed this calling through His Word and through people, though it was a responsibility Pastor James initially struggled to embrace.
In December 2019, the Lord instructed him to wait upon Him in fasting and prayer for 100 days, promising to reveal the next level of his ministry. In obedience, he undertook this spiritual journey. On June 22, 2020, the Lord spoke clearly and urgently, declaring that it was time to begin the next phase of the mandate—to raise and disciple true worshippers who will worship God in spirit and in truth.
Following this divine instruction, and in obedience to the voice of God, Bethel Kingdom City Church (BKCC) was birthed. The Lord declared that BKCC would be a place where humanity encounters divinity, and where the natural experiences the supernatural. Since its inception, God has continually confirmed His word through lives transformed, prayers answered, and His presence made manifest.

Our Pastor
Meet James Kayode Olusoji
James Kayode Olusoji is the Lead Pastor of Bethel Kingdom City Church (BKCC), a Christ-centered ministry with a clear vision to raise true worshippers who will worship God in spirit and in truth (John 4:23–24). Through sound teaching, passionate worship, and intentional discipleship, BKCC is committed to nurturing believers who live out their faith with authenticity, maturity, and kingdom influence.
Pastor James is a devoted teacher of God’s Word, known for communicating biblical truth with clarity, depth, and practical relevance. His ministry emphasizes prayer, worship, spiritual growth, and a lifestyle that honors God.
In addition to his pastoral calling, James Kayode Olusoji is a Music Minister whose revival-focused songs inspire intimacy with God and heartfelt worship, blessing listeners across churches and nations.
He is also an accomplished author and prayer teacher. He has curated over 500 prayer themes, which are being used and have become a blessing to individuals, families, and churches in over 200 nations worldwide. His writings equip believers to pray with understanding, purpose, and spiritual authority.
