Thanking God For Causing Us To Triumph
Night of Divine Encounter (NODE) 10th Edition, Day 1 - Thanking God For Causing Us To Triumph - Join us on Friday, May 6th, 2022 for the Night of Divine Encounter between 7pm to 10pm MST. Theme- The Storm Is Over
Thanking God For Causing Us To Triumph
Today, we will be thanking God for causing us to triumph. The epistle of Paul in 2 Corinthians 2:14 says, “But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ’s triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere.”
There are so many battles that God fights on our behalf and we are supposed to constantly thank God for this. Just like God enabled David to defeat a bear and a lion, there are many bears and lions that have come to attack us, yet the Lord has given us victory. At times, we experience the harassment of the devil just like Goliath harassed the nation of Israel for forty days. At that moment when we look powerless and it seems as if we could not fight our battles, God normally shows up to fight for us. We have every reason to thank God who is always fighting our battles for us.
Different People Who Triumph Through God’s Power
There was no way the three Hebrews would have gone through the fire and come back alive if God had not caused them to triumph over the fire. Daniel could not have come back alive from the lions’ den if God had not sent His angel to shut the lions’ mouth. If you sleep and wake up alive, it is only because God had delivered you from the terror by night, So, you need to constantly thank God for this. We also need to praise God for delivering us from the arrow that flies by noon day.
Life is full of battles and storms, but we serve a God that fights our battles and calms every storm. Many times, the enemies had come like a flood but the Spirit of God constantly raised His standard against them. As we pray today, we need to start thanking God for causing us to triumph.

Have faith in the Lord your God and you will be upheld; have faith in his prophets and you will be successful.” 21 After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the Lord and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying:
“Give thanks to the Lord,
for his love endures forever.”
22 As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated. 23 The Ammonites and Moabites rose up against the men from Mount Seir to destroy and annihilate them. After they finished slaughtering the men from Seir, they helped to destroy one another
