Pray For The Courage To Fight Your Giants
Today, we will pray for the courage to fight our giants. There was a time that Moses sent twelve spies to go and spy the land of promise. Ten of them came back with a bad report about the giants in the land. They did not have enough courage to take up the giants. They said that they were like grasshoppers before these giants. Meanwhile, you can derive your courage from God. God can fight your battles for you. Lack of courage is a sign that you do not have faith in God. So, for you to be courageous you need to constantly feed on the Word of God, so that you can build your faith.
The ten spies who came back with the bad report did not believe in the Word of God. God already told the Israelites that He would give them the land of Canaan, a land that is flowing with milk and honey. The lack of courage of these ten spies affected the nation of Israel. They sowed a bad seed in the minds of all the Israelites and that caused a setback for them. God punished the Israelites for their lack of belief and they spent an extra forty years in the wilderness. As a matter of fact, all that generation perished in the wilderness.
Confront Your Giants With Courage
When you lack the courage to confront your giants it will be impossible for you to defeat the giants. When Goliath confronted the nation of Israel, no one had the courage to face the giant except David. By the time David showed up on the scene, he was very courageous. Although he had a small stature he trusted in God. Even Goliath was surprised to see the type of courage that David demonstrated and he despised him. David courageously confronted this mighty giant called Goliath and he defeated him. You need courage to fight and take down your giants.
Be Strong And Courageous
Moses told Joshua several times to be strong and courageous because he needed courage to face the giants in the land that God promised them. God repeated the same message to Joshua several times to be strong and courageous. That was the major ingredient he needed to defeat the giants in the land of promise.
Joshua was so courageous to the extent that when he saw the angel that God sent to lead the Israelites in battle, he confronted him thinking that he was on the side of the enemies. Joshua was not afraid of an angel. He was so strong and courageous that he was ready to fight the angel. No wonder, he was able to defeat all the giants in the land and led the Israelites to their land flowing with milk and honey.
If you are also going to possess your possessions, you need to be strong and courageous. You need the courage to fight your giants. I pray that God will make you strong and you will have enough courage to fight your giants in Jesus’ name.

3. Father, I pray that you will go before me and fight for me. Lord, I thank you because you will never leave me nor forsake me. I pray for the grace not to be afraid nor be discouraged. Lord, give me the strength and courage to fight my giants

The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
4. Father, I pray that you will give me the courage to fight my giants and to defeat them. I pray that I will possess my possession in Jesus’ name.

Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.
5. Father, I pray for the grace to be careful in obeying all your law. Lord, I pray that as I obey your law, I will be successful wherever I go. Father, I pray for the courage to fight my giants and to defeat them in Jesus’ name.

Courage To Fight Your Giants
6. Father, I pray for the grace to always obey your word. I receive the grace to meditate on it day and night and to be careful to do everything your word says. Lord, I pray for the grace to be prosperous and to be successful. I pray for the courage to fight my giants and to defeat them in Jesus’ name.
Joshua 1:8-9(NIV)
Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. 9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
7. Father, I pray that you will strengthen me from my inner mind. I pray for the grace to be strong and to be courageous. Lord, I pray for the courage to fight my giants and to defeat them. Father, I receive everything that you have promised me on oath in Jesus’ name.
Deuteronomy 31:23 (NIV)
The Lord gave this command to Joshua son of Nun: “Be strong and courageous, for you will bring the Israelites into the land I promised them on oath, and I myself will be with you.”
8. Father, I thank you for giving me your full armor to fight against all the schemes of the devil. Lord, I receive the grace to be strong and to be courageous.
Ephesians 6:10-11 (NIV)
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
9. Father, I pray for the courage to fight my giants and to defeat them. Lord, I pray that you will fight my battles for me.
