Day 1: Prayer of Thanksgiving

40 DAYS PRAYER, FASTING AND WORSHIP FEB 3rd to MARCH 14th, 2021. 2021, A YEAR OF NEW BEGINNING - ISAIAH 43:17-19

Short Exhortation About Thanksgiving

Our focus today will be prayer of thanksgiving. We are going to thank God in advance for the year 2021, a year of new beginning – in John 6:11, Jesus thanked God for the loaves of bread before commanding His disciples to distribute them to over five thousand people. He thanked God in advance even before the bread was multiplied. So, we will also be thanking God in advance for all the wonderful promises and benefits He has for us in 2021.  Nehemiah also fasted and prayed and thanked God in advance even before embarking on the project of rebuilding the wall in Nehemiah 1:1-5. Jehoshaphat thanked God in advance before the three nations that waged war against them were destroyed (2 Chronicles 20). Also, Paul and Silas thanked God in advance before they receive their deliverance from the prison (Acts 16: 25-34)
