Pray that your nation will enjoy God’s peace
Today, we need to pray that our nation will enjoy God’s peace. There is no rest for a nation that is experiencing war. When there was a war in Samaria, it was really a terrible situation. There was a great famine in the land to the extent that some started feasting on their children. However, a prophetic word came from Elisha that put an end to the war. Afterwards, they had peace in the land. I pray that your nation will also enjoy God’s peace in Jesus’ name.
Goliath harassed the nation of Israel for forty days. No warrior could face Goliath, not even Saul the king. However, David, an anointed teenager came into the scene and silenced Goliath. The nation immediately enjoyed God’s peace.
Pray For God’s Peace In All Nations
God has the capacity to make war cease to the ends of the earth (Psalm 46:9). In every nation where there is war at the moment, the peace of God will reign in Jesus’ name. One of the names of Jesus is the Prince of peace. Isaiah 9:7 (NIV) says, “Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end.” The government of Jesus is a government of peace. Any nation that embraces Jesus is embracing the government of peace. That is one of the reasons why we need to preach the gospel to all creations. When we spread the gospel, we are spreading the government of peace.
We need to constantly pray for our nation. Psalm 122:6 (NIV) says, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May those who love you be secure.” When your nation has peace, you will have peace also. Go and check nations where there is war, you will agree with me that the most expensive peace is better than the cheapest war. War results in lack of rest, loss of lives, loss of properties and loss of peace. So, when you pray for the peace of your nation, you are invariably praying for your peace. As we pray today, I pray that you will enjoy God’s peace in your nation in Jesus’ name.

- Father, I thank you for burning the shields of the enemies with fire. Thank you for making wars cease to the ends of the earth. Lord, I thank you for breaking the bow and shattering the spear. God, I pray that my nation will enjoy your peace in Jesus’ name.

He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the shields with fire.
2. Father, I pray that my nation will enjoy your peace. Thank you Jesus because you are the Prince of peace. You said in your Word that “of the greatness of the government of your peace there will be no end.” Therefore, I pray that your peace will reign in my nation in Jesus’ name

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7 Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this.

8. Father, I pray that my nations will enjoy God’s peace in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray for the peace of Canada and I pray that as we love you in this nation, we shall be secure in Jesus’ name.

9. God, I pray that my nation will enjoy your peace in Jesus’ name. I pray that the fear of the Lord will be in all kingdoms and nations that may be planning to invade this nation in Jesus’ name. I pray that the Lord will fight the enemies of this nation and give us rest on every side in Canada (mention your nation) in Jesus’ name.
2 Chronicles 20:29-30 (NIV)
The fear of God came on all the surrounding kingdoms when they heard how the Lord had fought against the enemies of Israel. 30 And the kingdom of Jehoshaphat was at peace, for his God had given him rest on every side.
10. God, I pray that my nation will enjoy your peace in Jesus’ name. I pray that the Lord will fight all nations planning to besiege my nation in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that you will fight them with your heavenly sound and they will flee in Jesus’ name.
