Pray For The Revelation of the Glory of Christ in You
Revelation of the Glory of Christ in You
Today, we will pray for the revelation of the Glory of Christ in believers. The glory of Christ is not only a heavenly reality—it is a present and powerful truth that God longs to reveal in and through every believer. Colossians 1:27, (NKJV)says,
“To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
The phrase “Christ in you, the hope of glory” is more than poetic theology—it is a divine declaration of identity, transformation, and purpose. Christ lives in you to make His glory visible, tangible, and transformational
What Does the Glory of Christ Mean?
The glory of Christ refers to His divine nature, holiness, power, beauty, and majesty. It is the very essence of God revealed in the person of Jesus Christ (Hebrews 1:3). Throughout Scripture, God’s glory is associated with His manifest presence—seen in fire, light, cloud, or overwhelming power (Exodus 24:17; Ezekiel 1:28; John 1:14).
But now, through Christ, this glory is not just observed from afar—it dwells within us through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 3:18).
Christ in You – The Mystery Revealed
The apostle Paul calls it a “mystery hidden from ages” (Colossians 1:26)—that God’s very presence, power, and person would reside in ordinary human vessels. This mystery is now revealed: Christ in you.
This changes everything:
- You are not just a forgiven sinner—you are a carrier of divine glory.
- You are not powerless—you are empowered by the Spirit of Christ.
- You are not insignificant—you are chosen to reflect Christ’s light in a dark world.
From Glory to Glory
“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory…”
— 2 Corinthians 3:18, NKJV
The Christian life is a journey of transformation. As we behold Jesus and yield to the Holy Spirit, His character, power, and presence begin to reflect through us. The more we abide in Him, the more His glory becomes evident in:
- Our speech
- Our attitudes
- Our love for others
- Our authority in prayer
- Our response to trials
Glory Through Suffering and Obedience
The revelation of Christ’s glory in you does not exclude pain or persecution. In fact, it is often through suffering that His glory is most revealed (1 Peter 4:12–14). Obedience, faith, humility, and perseverance are the pathways through which His light shines brightest.
Jesus said:
“If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.”
— John 14:23, NKJV
Living as a Vessel of His Glory
To live in the revelation of Christ’s glory in you is to live with a sense of:
- Divine purpose – God created you to display His beauty (Isaiah 61:3).
- Spiritual authority – Christ’s power dwells within you (Ephesians 1:19–20).
- Intimate fellowship – You are the temple of His Spirit (1 Corinthians 3:16).
- Reflective glory – Your life becomes a mirror of His love and truth.
Final Word: Let the Glory Shine!
Do others see a reflection of Christ when they look at your life? Are you conscious of His presence in you daily?
The revelation of His glory in you is not for your boast—it’s for His name to be made famous, and for the world to know that Jesus is alive!
“Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.”
— Isaiah 60:1, NKJV
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, reveal Your glory in me and through me. Let my life be a reflection of Your presence. Transform me daily until I shine with Your beauty and power. Amen.
