Strengthening Faith Through Worship
Strengthening Faith Through Worship
Today, we will be praying about “Strengthening faith through worship.” Worship has the capacity to strengthen your faith. After you have prayed to God and He has given you an assurance that He has answered your prayer, you need to turn the waiting period to a praising period. The duration between the time you pray and the time you get the answer is a praising period.
Hannah prayed to God for a child. Immediately God answered that prayer, she started praising God. When you worship God even when you have not physically seen the answer to your prayers, it is a sign that you trust in God that He has done it already. You can strengthen your faith through Worship. Eventually, Hannah saw the result of the worship. She gave birth to Samuel and five other children.
Deepening Your Faith with Worship
Abraham also strengthened his faith through worship. The moment he believed in God that he would give him the promised child, he began to worship God. Waiting period is a worship period. Once you have prayed and God has promised you that He has answered your request, just begin to praise God. Abraham praised God until God gave him Isaac, the son of promise.
Another example is Jehoshaphat and the nation of Judah. When three nations waged war against them, they cried unto God and prayed to him. The moment God told them that He had answered their prayer they started offering praise to God. They strengthened their faith through worship. As they began to praise and worship God, the Lord ambushed the three nations and they were utterly destroyed. Worship has the capacity to strengthen your faith.
Revitalizing Faith Through Worship
Apostle Paul and Silas were another great example. They praise and worship God while in prison. After they have prayed, they began to worship God. Like I have mentioned, your waiting period is a praising period. They worshiped God in the prison and all the prison doors opened and their chains were loosed. Paul and Silas strengthened their faith through worship. Eventually, they got the jailer and all his household saved.
While David was in the wilderness, I believe that God strengthened his faith through worship. He was a worshiper who did not care if he was going through challenges or not, He worshiped until God destroyed king Saul who was after his life. Eventually, king Saul died and David ascended the throne.
As we pray today, I pray that your faith will be strengthened through worship in Jesus’ name.
