Thank God For Answered Prayers

Thank God For Answered Prayers

Today, we will express our gratitude to God for answered prayers. It was a habitual practice for Jesus to thank God for His responses to prayers. Before multiplying the five loaves of bread and two fish, He looked up to heaven and gave thanks, believing in God’s provision. As a result, the food multiplied, feeding five thousand men.

Similarly, at the tomb of Lazarus, Jesus thanked God in advance, trusting that His prayers were heard even though Lazarus was still in the grave. After thanking God, He called Lazarus out, and the dead man returned to life.

Hannah also exemplified this faith by thanking God for answered prayers before seeing their fulfillment. When Eli declared that her prayers had been answered, she worshipped God in advance, before Samuel was born.

Are you trusting God for something today? You can thank Him in advance, confident that He has already answered your prayers. The absence of immediate physical evidence does not mean that God hasn’t responded. Thanking God in advance is a demonstration of faith.

Additionally, remember to thank God for the prayers He has already answered, especially those with visible outcomes. Gratitude opens the door to receiving more blessings. God appreciates a grateful heart and detests ingratitude. Show your appreciation for what He has done and for what you are trusting Him to do. As you praise God for answered prayers, you invite Him to do even more for you.
