Pray for Supernatural Wisdom
Today, we are going to pray for supernatural wisdom. The scriptures describe Jesus Christ as the wisdom of God (1 Corinthians 1:24). It means that the more you know Jesus the more you have supernatural wisdom. There is a man in the bible called Ahithophel who gave counsel as if he consulted the Word of God. 2 Samuel 16:23 says, “Now in those days the counsel that Ahithophel gave was as if one consulted the word of God; so was all the counsel of Ahithophel esteemed, both by David and by Absalom.” Although Ahithophel was blessed with supernatural wisdom, he misused the wisdom and that led to his untimely death. As you pray for supernatural wisdom, pray for the grace not to abuse it.
God expects us not to forsake wisdom because wisdom has the capacity to protect (Proverbs 4:6-7). God can bless you with the Spirit of wisdom and revelation according to Ephesians 1:7. The Spirit of wisdom enables you to know God better. If you want to know God more and serve Him better, you need supernatural wisdom. Some of the prerequisites to getting supernatural wisdom is to fear God and to live in humility. You must have a perfect hatred for sin and you must not allow pride in your heart. As you do these and as you are longing to know Jesus more, you will be filled with supernatural wisdom.
God Can Bless You With Supernatural Wisdom
Also, Job 12:12 says, “Wisdom belongs to the aged, and understanding to the old.” You need to take note that physical age is different from spiritual age. Someone can be young physically and yet be an adult when it comes to spiritual matters. Also, someone can be advanced in age physically and be a baby Christian. Therefore, the older you are in spiritual matters, the more supernatural wisdom you will display. To become mature in spiritual matters, you have to stop feeding on milk of the Word of God and start eating solid foods. As we pray today and as you take steps in the right direction, I pray that the Lord will give you supernatural wisdom in Jesus’ name.
Prayer Points: Pray For Supernatural Wisdom
- Father, I pray that you will reveal Jesus, the wisdom of God, to me. I pray that you will bless me with supernatural wisdom
1 Corinthians 1:24
“But to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.”
2. Father, I pray that you will bless me supernaturally with your wisdom. I pray for the grace not to abuse this wisdom in Jesus’ name
2 Samuel 16:23

I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.
4. Father, I pray for the grace not to forsake wisdom. Lord, bless me with supernatural wisdom and let him protect me in Jesus’ name
Proverbs 4:6-7
Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding
5. Father, I pray for the grace to grow in the knowledge of the Word of God. Lord, bless me with supernatural wisdom in Jesus’ name
Job 12:12

6. Father, I pray for the grace to fear and to depart from evil. Lord, I pray that as I do so, you will bless me with supernatural wisdom in Jesus’ name
Job 28:28
Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding.
7. Father, I pray for the grace to love the Lord with all my heart, with all my might and with all my soul. I pray that as I do this, you will bless me with supernatural wisdom in Jesus’ name
Psalm 107:43
Whoever is wise, let him heed these things and consider the great love of the LORD.
8. Father, I pray for the grace to fear the Lord in Jesus’ name. I pray that I will not despise wisdom and discipline in Jesus’ name
Proverbs 1:7
Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline
9. Father, I pray that you will give me understanding and bless me with supernatural wisdom in Jesus’ name
Proverbs 10:13
Wisdom is found on the lips of him who has understanding, but a rod is for the back of him who is devoid of understanding.
10. Father, I pray for the grace to keep my tongue from speaking evil. I pray for the grace not to sin against you. Father, bless me with supernatural wisdom in Jesus’ name
Proverbs 10:19
When words are many, sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise.
11. Father, I pray that you will deliver me from pride in Jesus’ name. Lord, give me the grace to be humble and and as a result of my humility, bless me with supernatural wisdom in Jesus’ name
Proverbs 11:2
When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.
12. Father, I pray for supernatural wisdom that will enable me to win more souls for your kingdom in Jesus’ name
Proverbs 11:30
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise.
13. Father, I pray that I will not speak reckless words in Jesus’ name. I pray for supernatural wisdom and I pray that my words will bring healing in Jesus’ name
Proverbs 12:18
Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.
14. Father, I pray that you will deliver me from pride in Jesus’ name. I pray for the grace to listen to godly advice so that I can gain a supernatural wisdom in Jesus’ name
Proverbs 13:10
Pride only breeds quarrels, but wisdom is found in those who take advice
15. Father, I pray for the grace to cherish wisdom more than gold and to cherish understanding more than silver
Proverbs 16:16
How much better to get wisdom than gold, to choose understanding rather than silver!

Wisdom calls aloud outside; She raises her voice in the open squares. 21 She cries out in the chief concourses, at the openings of the gates in the city she speaks her words: 22 “How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? For scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge. 23 Turn at my rebuke; Surely I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you.
24 Because I have called and you refused, I have stretched out my hand and no one regarded, 25 Because you disdained all my counsel, and would have none of my rebuke, 26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your terror comes, 27 When your terror comes like a storm, and your destruction comes like a whirlwind, when distress and anguish come upon you.
28 “Then they will call on me, but I will not answer; They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me. 29 Because they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of the Lord, 30 They would have none of my counsel and despised my every rebuke. 31 Therefore they shall eat the fruit of their own way, and be filled to the full with their own fancies. 32 For the turning away of the simple will slay them, and the complacency of fools will destroy them; 33 But whoever listens to me will dwell safely, and will be secure, without fear of evil.”
