Pray for rest from all battles
Pray for rest from all battles

Today, we will pray for rest from all battles. Battles can come from different dimensions. However, we serve a God who can give us rest from all battles. Goliath harassed the Israelites for forty days and everyone was restless due to his harassment. Nobody could confront Goliath, not even the king. However, when David, a young teenager boy, showed up, he confronted this giant. He likened the giant to one of the animals he had fought and killed while taking care of his father’s flock in the bush. David knew that God had given us dominion over animals, so, he invariably looked at Goliath like one of those animals that he had killed earlier. True to his words, he defeated Goliath despite the fact that he was a giant and an experienced soldier.
After David killed Goliath, the nation of Israel had rest from his harassment. All the army of Israel pursued all other soldiers and they killed some of them while others fled. I pray that God will also give you rest from all battles. Your enemies will flee from you in seven ways in Jesus’ name.
Jehoshaphat Had Rest From War
Jehoshaphat was another king who experienced war. Three nations invaded the territory of Judah and all the inhabitants of the city of Judah were afraid, including Jehoshaphat their king. However, they turned to God and cried out to Him. God told them that He will fight for them. Therefore, Jehoshaphat appointed singers to praise and worship God. Indeed, God fought for them. He defeated those three nations by making them fight each other until they were utterly destroyed. After this great victory, the bible says Jehoshaphat had permanent peace throughout the time he reigned in Judah. I pray that God will also give you rest from all battles in Jesus’ name.
Solomon was another king who had rest throughout his reign. Unlike David, his father who fought many battles, God gave king Solomon rest. In fact, the reason why David was prevented from building the temple for God was because he had shed so much blood. If God gave Solomon rest, He would give you rest also from all battles. No weapons formed against you shall prosper. I condemn every tongue that rises up in judgment against you in Jesus’ name.
God Can Destroy Your Enemies For You To Have Rest
In some situations, some enemies have to die for you to rest. This is quite unfortunate because God does not want the death of a sinner. He wants everyone to come to repentance. However, when stiff-neckedness is the order of the day, then God will fight your battles for you and some heads might roll for this. King Pharaoh was given several warnings to let Israelites go, but he hardened his heart until he perished. God warned him times without numbers to allow His people to go so that they might serve Him. However, king Pharaoh was adamant until he perished. I pray that God will also destroy every Pharaoh in your life until you have your rest in Jesus’ name.
