Praying that Jesus Will Baptize You With Fire
Today, we will be praying that Jesus will baptize us with fire. One of the job descriptions of Jesus is that he will baptize us with the Holy Ghost and with fire. This fire has the capacity to destroy every impurity in you. God’s fire will purify you and refine you so that you can be more useful for God. Gold is more valuable in its refined state. For gold to be that valuable, it has to be refined by fire. So, when God’s fire comes upon you, the fire will destroy all the impurities in you so that you can be more valuable in God’s assignment.
Another reason why Jesus will baptize you with fire is that the fire is needed for witnessing. Acts 1:8 says, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” So, the fire that Jesus will baptize you with is necessary for witnessing. The power that you will receive comes from that fire and the fire has the capacity to spread all over the world. Therefore, the moment you catch this fire, you have to begin to spread it. The disciples started spreading the fire right from the day of Pentecost. Today, that fire is still spreading all over the world.
Jesus Can Still Baptize You With Fire
If you don’t have the fire yet, you need to pray earnestly that Jesus will baptize you with fire. You can not achieve much in your assignment and God’s purpose for you on earth without the fire. This fire can also test the genuineness of your faith. 1 Peter 1:7 says, “So that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” When your faith is tested by fire, God wants it to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
The fire of God has the capacity to give illumination and direction. Exodus 13:21 says, “And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead them along the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, that they might travel by day and by night.” The way God led the Israelites in the wilderness was through the pillar of fire. When Jesus baptizes you with fire, you will have illumination and direction. You will no longer walk in the dark. All the plans of the enemies will be revealed to you. You can only stumble in darkness. The fire of God will show you all the hurdles on your way and how to remove them.
As we pray today, I pray that God will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire in Jesus’ name and your life will not remain the same again.

- Lord, I pray that you will baptize me with fire in Jesus’ name. Father, I pray that I will start walking in the supernatural realm and do extraordinary exploits in Jesus’ name.

I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
2. Father, I pray that you will baptize me with your fire and destroy every impurity in me in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that you will refine me by your fire and make me more useful to you in Jesus’ name
Matthew 3:12
Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.
3. Lord, I pray that I will receive power as you baptize me with your fire in Jesus’ name. Father, I pray that I will be your witness in my Jerusalem, in Judea, in Samaria and to the uttermost part of the world in Jesus’ name
Acts 1:8

4. Father, I pray that you will make me a flame of fire in Jesus’ name
Psalm 104:4
He makes his messengers winds, his ministers a flaming fire.
5. Lord, I pray that you will baptize me with fire and through me, kindle your fire all over the earth in Jesus’ name
Luke 12:49
“I came to cast fire on the earth, and would that it were already kindled!”
6. Father, I pray that you will reveal yourself to me by fire in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that your fire will purify me in Jesus’ name
Exodus 3:2
And the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush was burning, yet it was not consumed.
7. Father, I pray that anytime I call on your name, you will answer me by fire in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that through me, the unbelievers will know that you are the true God
1 Kings 18:24
And you call upon the name of your god, and I will call upon the name of the Lord, and the God who answers by fire, he is God. And all the people answered, “It is well spoken.”
8. Father, I pray that as I present myself to you as an offering, let your fire fall upon me and purify me in Jesus’ name.
1 Kings 18:38
Then the fire of the Lord fell and consumed the burnt offering and the wood and the stones and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.
9. Father, I pray that you will test the genuineness of my faith by fire. Lord, let it result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ

10. Lord, I pray that you will let your fire fall upon me in Jesus’ name
Acts 2:3
And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them.
11. Father, I pray that you will send down your fire upon me and let it destroy every strongholds in Jesus’ name
Amos 1:10
“So I will send a fire upon the wall of Tyre, and it shall devour her strongholds.”
12. Father, I pray that your fire will give me light and revelation into your Word in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that you will baptize me with your fire and let it give me direction in Jesus’ name
Exodus 13:21

13. Father, I know that I am your temple. I pray that you let your fire fall upon me and let it be visible to all people in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that I will not lack your fire throughout my lifetime journey in Jesus’ name.
Exodus 40:38
For the cloud of the Lord was on the tabernacle by day, and fire was in it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel throughout all their journeys.
14. Father, I pray that you will kindle your fire in my heart and let the burning fire shut up in my bones In Jesus’ name
Jeremiah 20:9
“If I say, ‘I will not mention him, or speak any more in his name,’ there is in my heart as it were a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I am weary with holding it in, and I cannot.”
15. Father, I pray that your Word in my mouth will be like fire and like a hammer that break the rock in pieces in Jesus’ name
Jeremiah 23:29
“Is not my word like fire,” declares the Lord, “and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?”
16. Father, I pray that as I offer myself unto you as an offering, send your fire upon me in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that I will be a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto you in Jesus’ name
Leviticus 9:24
And fire came out from before the Lord and consumed the burnt offering and the pieces of fat on the altar, and when all the people saw it, they shouted and fell on their faces.
17. Father, I pray that my heart will become hot within me burning with your fire in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that the fire of God will reflect in my speech in Jesus’ name
Psalm 39:3
My heart became hot within me. As I mused, the fire burned; then I spoke with my tongue.
18. Father, I pray that you will refine me by your fire in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that I will be more useful for you and do greater exploits in Jesus’ name
Zechariah 13:9
“And I will put this third into the fire, and refine them as one refines silver, and test them as gold is tested. They will call upon my name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘They are my people’; and they will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’”
