Pray That Your Children Will Be On Fire For God
Today, we will be praying that our children will be on fire for the Lord. Primarily, fire represents the presence of God. Moses encountered God through the burning bush and He later led the Israelites by fire in the wilderness. In Acts, the tongues of fire represent the presence of God the Holy Spirit. God is ready to baptize our children with fire and they will be set ablaze for God. Our children are not too young to do exploits. They are not too young to walk in the supernatural realm. Although Moses saw the fire of God at the age of eighty, nevertheless, age is never a barrier to supernatural encounter. John mentioned specifically that Jesus Christ will baptize us with fire and there is no age limit for this encounter.
One encounter with Jesus has the capacity to change the lives of our children forever. Revelation 1:14 says, “The hair on his head was white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire.” If the eyes of our Lord Jesus Christ were like blazing fire, we as His children should be a partaker of that fire too. The truth is that like begets like. If truly our God is a consuming fire, we as His children should be on fire too. Since Jesus’ eyes were like blazing fire, the eyes of our children should be like blazing fire. The enemies must not be able to move near our children without being consumed. As we pray today, the Lord will baptize our children with fire in Jesus’ name.
God Can Anoint Your Children’s Tongue With Fire
When God appeared to Isaiah, He anointed his tongues with coal of fire. As a result of this, he became a great prophet. The tongue of your children will also be anointed with the coal of fire in Jesus’ name. On the day of Pentecost, the onlookers saw a flame of fire upon everyone who was in the upper room. That same flame of fire will rest upon your children as from now on. The Lord will baptize your children with the Holy Spirit and fire in Jesus’ name. The fire of the Lord upon your children will refine them and they will walk in the supernatural realm in Jesus’ name.
Prayer Points
- Father, I pray that my children will be on fire for God. Lord, I pray that just like you descended on Mount Sinai in fire, you will set my children ablaze for you in Jesus’ name
Exodus 19:18
Mount Sinai was covered with smoke, because the LORD descended on it in fire. The smoke billowed up from it like smoke from a furnace, and the whole mountain trembled violently.
2. Father, I pray that you will baptize my children with fire in Jesus’ name. I pray that my children will start walking the supernatural realm in Jesus’ name
Luke 3:16
John answered them all, “I baptize you with water. But one who is more powerful than I will come, the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
3. Father, I pray that my children will have a divine encounter with you and you will baptize them with fire in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that my children will be so hot for you that they will be untouchable for the enemies in Jesus’ name
Revelation 1:14

4. Father, I pray that you will start speaking to my children. Lord, let them hear your voice like the children of Israel heard your voice from the fire. Lord, I pray that you will revive my children by your fire in Jesus’ name
Deuteronomy 5:24
And you said, “The LORD our God has shown us his glory and his majesty, and we have heard his voice from the fire. Today we have seen that a person can live even if God speaks with them.
5. Father, I pray that you will baptize my children with fire and let the fire destroy every chaff in them. Lord, I pray that you will purify my children by your fire in Jesus’ name.
Matthew 3:11-12
“I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. 12 His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor, gathering his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”
6. Father, I pray that your tongues of fire will come upon all my children in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that you will set them ablaze for you and they will will walk in the supernatural realm in Jesus’ name
Acts 2:3-4
They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
7. Father, I pray that you will open the eyes of my children and they will start seeing in the supernatural realm in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that my children will encounter your fire that will take them through their lifetime journey in Jesus’ name
Exodus 3:2-4
There the angel of the LORD appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up. 3 So Moses thought, “I will go over and see this strange sight—why the bush does not burn up.” 4 When the LORD saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, “Moses! Moses!” And Moses said, “Here I am.”
8. Father, I pray that you will touch the lips of my children and anoint them with coal of fire in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that you will use them mightily more than you used Isaiah in Jesus’ name
Isaiah 6:6-7
Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar. 7 And he touched my mouth with it, and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips; Your iniquity is taken away, and your sin purged.”
