Pray that God will always be your defense
Pray that God will always be your defense

Today, we will pray that God will always be our defense. Defense means resistant against attack, danger or harm. It means protection. Our God is a shelter in the times of storms. Psalm 62:6 (NKJV) says, “He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be moved.” You can always be guaranteed of protection when you abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Our God is the Almighty. The word Almighty means Omnipotent or having complete power. When you make the Lord God Almighty your defense, no forces of darkness can attack you.
When God praised Job as a righteous man, Satan said that he was righteous because God had built a hedge around him and his household. How did Satan know? Definitely, He must have tried to attack him from every angle but met a brick wall. Satan must have tried to attack his business, his children, and his health but all to no avail. This tells us that when God makes His hedge around you and your household, you will be impenetrable for the evil ones.
God Is A Rock Of Defense
When God is your rock of defense, no one can do you wrong. Psalm 105:14-15 (NKJV) Says, “He permitted no one to do them wrong; Yes, He rebuked kings for their sakes, Saying, “Do not touch My anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm.” God defended the Israelites right from when they were in Egypt and also while they were in the wilderness. While there were plagues in Egypt, the Israelites were enjoying peace. When the Egyptian army pursued the Israelites, God still defended them. All the Egyptian army perished in the Red Sea because God fought for the Israelites. Even while they were in the wilderness, God created fear in the minds of their enemies. You can also trust in God and He will always be your defense.
The scriptures say that we are the apple of God’s eyes. No one dares touch the apples of God’s eyes without seeing the anger of God. Deuteronomy 32:10 (NKJV) says, “He found him in a desert land and in the wasteland, a howling wilderness; He encircled him, He instructed him, He kept him as the apple of His eye.” The eye is a delicate part of the body. If any dangerous weapon touches the eye, the eye can be blind. So, God will definitely guard His eyes and prevent it from danger. This should give you an assurance that God will defend you at all cost. As we pray today, I pray that God will always be your defense in Jesus’ name.
