Pray that God will fight your battles for you
Today, we will be praying that God will fight our battles for us. It is better to hand over your battles to God. There are some battles that you can not fight by yourself. For such battles, you need to allow God to fight them for you. God said that He will contend with those who contend with you. David could not have killed Goliath by his own strength if he had not handed over the battles to God. When God fights for you, every giant will be defeated.
Most of the time when David wanted to go to war, he always sought the face of the Lord. No wonder, he was always winning his battles. For any battle you hand over to the Lord, you can be assured of victory already. God told Jehoshaphat that the nation of Judah had no part in the battle when they were faced with three nations. God fought those three nations and gave the city of Judah victory.
You can sing to God when you are going through trials just like Paul and Silas did. When you worship God, He will inhabit your praises and fight your battles for you. That was exactly what God did for Paul and Silas. Although, they were chained and they put them in the inner prison. God showed that He could save completely even when you think that all is over.
God Fought The Israelites’ Battle
Who would have been able to deliver the Israelites in the land of bondage if God had not fought for them. When Moses tried to deliver the Israelites in his own strength, he failed woefully. He saw an Egyptian fighting an Israelite and he killed the Egyptian but his people rejected him.. Acts 7:35-36 (NIV) says, “This is the same Moses they had rejected with the words, ‘Who made you ruler and judge?’ He was sent to be their ruler and deliverer by God himself, through the angel who appeared to him in the bush. He led them out of Egypt and performed wonders and signs in Egypt, at the Red Sea and for forty years in the wilderness.”
God had to appear to Moses and He went before him to Egypt in order to deliver the Israelites. When you fight in your own strength, you will be defeated. However, when you allow God to fight your battles for you, you are more than conqueror already. You are a victor and not a victim if only you can allow God to fight your battles. As we pray today, I pray that the Lord will fight your battles for you in Jesus’ name.

- Father, I pray that you will fight my battles for me. Lord, I pray for the grace to fight the good fight of faith. I pray for the grace to always use my tongue rightly in fighting the battles of life

3. Father, I pray that you will fight my battles for me. Thank you Jesus for delivering me from all forms of temptations waging war against my soul. Father, I pray that my faith will produce perseverance. I pray that when perseverance finish his work in me, I will be mature and complete and not lacking anything in Jesus’ name
James 1:2-4 (NIV)
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
4. God, I pray that you will fight my battles for me. Lord, I pray that you will be with me like a mighty warrior. Father, I pray that my persecutors will stumble and not prevail. I pray that they will fail and be thoroughly disgraced. I pray that their dishonor will never be forgotten.

5. Father, I pray that you will fight my battles for me. Lord, I pray that you will grant me your peace. I pray that you will deliver me from trouble. Thank you Jesus because you have overcome the world.
John 16:32-33 (NIV)
“A time is coming and in fact has come when you will be scattered, each to your own home. You will leave me all alone. Yet I am not alone, for my Father is with me. 33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
6. Father, I pray that you will fight my battles for me in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that nothing will separate me from your love. Father, I pray that hardship, persecution, famine, nakedness, danger or sword will not separate me from your love.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
God Can Still Fight Your Battles
7. God, I pray that you will fight my battles for me. Lord, I pray that you will make my righteous reward shine like the dawn and let my vindication be like a noonday sun.

He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.
8. Father, I pray that you will fight my battles for me. Thank you Jesus because the weapons I fight with are not weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. Lord, I thank you for giving me the grace to demolish arguments and every pretense that sets itself up against the knowledge of God. I take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. I punish every act of obedience since my obedience is complete in Jesus’ name
2 Corinthians 10:4-6 (NIV)
The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. 6 And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.
9. Father, I pray that you will fight my battles for me in Jesus’ name. Lord, I thank you for removing every mountain, not by my power, but by your Spirit. Thank you Jesus for making a mighty mountain plain before me.
Zechariah 4:6 (NIV)
So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty. 7 “What are you, mighty mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become level ground. Then he will bring out the capstone to shouts of ‘God bless it! God bless it!’”
10. God, I thank you for fighting my battles for me. Thank you Jesus for delivering me from all forms of temptations

11. Father, I pray that you will fight my battles for me in Jesus name. Thank you Jesus because I am born of God and I overcome the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even my faith.
