Praying For The Sound Of A Great Deliverance
Today, we will be praying for the sound of a great deliverance. We have realized that a quite number of times in the bible, God gave a great deliverance to people through a sound. When there was a siege against the Isrealites by the Arameans, God gave the Israelites a great victory by allowing the Arameans to hear a sound. This sound scared them and they fled. That was a sound of great deliverance. Prior to this great sound, there was a severe famine in the land of Israel because they were besieged. Some have started feasting on their children but God intervened by speaking through prophet Elisha. Elijah prophesied an abundance into the land and that same day, God fought the Arameans with a sound.
2 Kings 7:6 says, “For the Lord had caused the Arameans to hear the sound of chariots and horses and a great army, so that they said to one another, “Look, the king of Israel has hired the Hittite and Egyptian kings to attack us!” There is a sound that can give you a great deliverance from the enemies. I pray that God will give you a great deliverance by making your enemies hear a sound in Jesus’ name.
Prayer and Godly Music Are Examples of Sound of Great Deliverance
The sound that will give you a great deliverance could be a sound of prayer or music. When you cry unto God in the place of prayer, God will hear and give you a great deliverance. As you sing unto God and create those musical sounds, it will bring you a great deliverance from the bondage of Satan. When Paul and Silas were in the prison, they made such a sound unto the Lord. They prayed and sang. The sound was so loud that the prisoners heard them. When God was going to respond to them, He responded with a sound of great deliverance. The scripture says that there was a great earthquake in the land. All the prison doors opened and all their chains were loosed.
When three nations waged a war against Jehoshaphat and the nation of Judah, they also fought their enemies through a sound. They first cried unto God and God told them that they had no part in the battle. After that, Jehoshaphat appointed singers to create a sound unto God. As they were making melody unto the Lord, their enemies began to fight themselves. The sound confused all their enemies. The city of Judah got a great deliverance on that day because all their enemies helped to destroy themselves.
As we pray today, I pray that you will hear the sound of great deliverance in Jesus’ name. You will be delivered from sickness, from chains and from lack in Jesus’ name.

He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. “Quick, get up!” he said, and the chains fell off Peter’s wrists.
9. Father, I pray that as I cry to you today, you will give me a great deliverance from all the forces of darkness that are against me. Lord, deliver me from enemies like king Pharaoh and make a way for me in Jesus’ name
Exodus 14:10-16
And when Pharaoh drew near, the children of Israel lifted their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians marched after them. So they were very afraid, and the children of Israel cried out to the Lord. 11 Then they said to Moses, “Because there were no graves in Egypt, have you taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you so dealt with us, to bring us up out of Egypt? 12 Is this not the word that we told you in Egypt, saying, ‘Let us alone that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than that we should die in the wilderness.”
13 And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. 14 The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”
15 And the Lord said to Moses, “Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward. 16 But lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it. And the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea
