Thank God For His Guidance By His Divine Instructions
Today, we will thank God for His guidance by His divine instructions. The divine instructions from God enable us to know what to do and what not to do so that we will not go the wrong way. When God created Adam and Eve, He gave them some divine instructions especially concerning the administration of the garden of Eden. He mentioned that He has given them dominion over all the creation. God gave man dominion over the fish, over the animals, over trees and over everything. Moreover, God gave man the instruction not to eat the tree of the knowledge of good and evil which was in the garden. Obedience to these divine instructions would have made man live eternally. However, man disobeyed these divine instructions and physical death became inevitable.
Most of the time, many don’t listen to divine instructions. If you buy a gadget without reading the instructions on how to use the gadget, you will underutilize the gadgets. If you are a student who doesn’t listen to instructions in the class or while writing your examinations, it will be difficult for you to pass. Also, if you are a child who doesn’t listen to the instructions of his or her parents, you will hardly succeed in life. If you are a worker who doesn’t listen to instructions in your office, you will soon be chased out of that organization. If you are a citizen who doesn’t obey instructions from the government, you will be punished severely.
Obedient To Divine Instructions is The Pathway To Success
The same rule applies to a Christian who does not listen to divine instructions, such Christian will hardly succeed in life. Adam and Eve lost their position in the beautiful garden because they refused to listen to divine instructions. Samson died prematurely because he did not obey divine instructions. King Saul lost his throne because he did not obey divine instructions. You have also missed God’s blessings in many areas because you have refused to obey divine instructions. That young prophet at Bethel, whom God sent to Jeroboam, was eventually devoured by the lion because he did not obey divine instructions.
Divine instructions have the capacity to enthrone and establish you. Divine instructions have the capacity to elevate you provided you obey them. God has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness. Everything we need to live a godly and a fruitful life has been given to us in the scriptures via divine instructions. The level you are today is the product of the level of your obedience to divine instructions. The level that you will ever attain in life will be based on the level of your obedience to divine instructions. Where you are going to spend your eternity will be based on your obedience to divine instructions.
Today, we need to thank God for His guidance by his divine instructions. As we obey these divine instructions, I pray that the Lord will promote and lift us beyond our imaginations in Jesus’ name.
