Pray That God Will Open Your Ears To Listen To Divine Instructions
Today, we will pray that God will open our ears to listen to divine instructions. We need God to give us ears that hear. You can have two ears and yet not listen to instructions. This could be because your mind has wandered away and you are not paying attention to what the other party is saying. This shows that, if you are going to understand divine instructions, you need hearing ears. It is also possible for you to listen to instructions but you don’t understand. Listening and understanding are two different things. You can listen but not understand. That is why two students can attend the same class and listen to the teacher yet have different understanding. Their understanding shows up in their assessments and assignments.
The Ethiopian eunuch was reading the bible but he lacked understanding of what he was reading. Not until Phillip explained to him what he was reading, that was when his eyes of understanding were opened and he gave his life to Christ and he was baptized. The scriptures said several times in the book of Revelation that “He that has ears, let him hear what the Spirit is saying.” Here, the scripture was not talking of physical ears. It means that we have inner ears or what I can describe as spiritual ears that enhance our understanding.
The Pharisees Did Not Listen To Divine Instructions
Apostle Paul, although he was very learned as a Pharisee but he lacked understanding of the gospel when he was persecuting the church. Nichodemus was a Jewish ruler and a Pharisee, yet he lacked understanding of the concept of new birth. Jesus had to explain to him before he could understand. When Cain offered an unacceptable offering to God, God was trying to explain to him the reason why his offering was not acceptable but he didn’t listen. Jesus told Judas that woe to him if he betrayed him, yet, Judas still went ahead to betray Jesus. His greed becloud his sense of reasoning.
When you don’t listen to divine instructions, your life on earth could become miserable. Naaman almost missed his healing because he wanted to despise divine instructions from Elisha. If he had not listened to Elisha and obeyed those divine instructions, he would have remained a leper forever. Many of us have missed our healing because we refused to listen to divine instructions.
How God Led Israelites By Divine Instructions
God led the Israelites out of Egypt by divine instructions. He would constantly give Moses instructions and the moment Moses carried out those instructions, there would be signs and wonders. All the plagues that God fought the Egyptians with was as a result of Moses obedience to divine instructions. All the miracles that God performed in the wilderness through Moses happened because he listened to divine instructions. The sea parted by divine instructions. Water came from the rock by divine instructions. Manna came from heaven by divine instructions. Also, when Moses missed the opportunity to enter the promised land, it was because he did not listen to divine instructions. Your obedience to divine instructions can make you while your disobedience to divine instructions can mar you.
As you pray today, I pray that God will open your ears to listen to divine instructions in Jesus’ name.

4. Father, I pray that you will open my ears to listen to your divine instructions. I pray for the grace not to turn my back on you. Lord, help me to obey your instructions in Jesus’ name

And they have turned to Me the back, and not the face; though I taught them, rising up early and teaching them, yet they have not listened to receive instruction
Pray For Ears That Listen To Divine Instruction
5. Father, I pray that you will open my ears to listen to your divine instructions. Lord, I receive the grace to obey your words. I pray that as I obey your divine instructions, I will prosper in all I do in Jesus’ name.

7. Father, I pray that you will open my ears to listen to your divine instructions. Lord, I pray that as I am willing and obedient, I will eat the good of the land in Jesus’ name.
Isaiah 1:19-20 (NKJV)
If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land; 20 But if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword”; For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.
8. Father, I pray that you will open my ears to listen to divine instructions. Lord, I pray that you will open my ears to hear and my eyes to see in Jesus’ name.

Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches.
