Pray For The Grace To Know Wisdom And Divine Instructions
Today, we will pray for the grace to know wisdom and divine instructions. It is not all instructions that you have to listen to. Some instructions are from God while some other instructions are from the devil. We need a discerning Spirit to know the difference. Although God gave some divine instructions to Adam in the garden of Eden not to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, Satan also gave Eve counter instructions to eat. She ate and gave the fruit also to her husband and that landed the human race in trouble. Not all instructions are godly. You need the wisdom of God to know the difference.
God had already told Abraham that through his seed, all the nations on earth will be blessed. However, during his waiting period, Sarah gave him counter instructions to sleep with Hagar who was her maid. Abraham obeyed these instructions and Ishmael was born. The world has not recovered from the outcome of this singular mistake. You need the grace to know wisdom and divine instructions because not all instructions are from God.
Before that young prophet who went to Bethel became a victim of the lion, he listened to an instruction from the older prophet who misled him. He would have discerned the cruelty of the older prophet by the wisdom of God and he would have discerned that the instructions are not divine.
Grace To Obey Divine Instructions
Rehoboam lost part of domain in Israel because he did not understand divine instructions. He took advice from both the elders and the young ones in his domain. The elders gave him a wise counsel which would have established his throne but he despised them. He however, yielded to the advice of the young ones and he lost many tribes in Israel who were under his rulership.
Satan came to Jesus and he gave Him several instructions which He refused to carry out. Many instructions are not divine and we need the wisdom of God to know the difference. Satan told Jesus to turn the stone to bread but He declined. Satan took Jesus up into the holy city and set Him on the pinnacle of the temple. He told Him to throw Himself down because the scriptures say that God will give His angels a charge over us and they will bear us in their hands so that we would not dash our feet against stones. The devil is very tricky and he will constantly dish out instructions to us in a very subtle way.
Grace To Know Wisdom and Divine Instructions
You need the grace to know wisdom and divine instructions so that you will not fall into the gimmicks of Satan. Jesus responded to Satan appropriately. If Jesus had not done that, Satan would have been His master because you are a subject to whom you obey. As we pray today, I pray that God will give us the grace to know wisdom and divine instructions. I pray that when we know this truth, it will set us free in Jesus’ name.

5. Father, I pray for the grace to know wisdom and divine instructions. Lord, I pray that as I receive your instructions, I receive the grace to be wiser. Lord, I pray that your Holy Spirit will teach me and I will increase in learning. Father, I pray that you will promote me as I obey your instructions

6. Father, I pray for the grace to fear you and do your will all the days of my life. Lord, I pray that as I obey you, I will increase in wisdom in Jesus’ name. Father, I pray for the grace to humble myself and I receive honor as I do so in Jesus’ name.

7. Father, I pray for the grace to know wisdom and divine instructions. Lord, I pray that as I receive your divine instructions, I will increase in understanding in Jesus’ name.

8. Father, I pray for the grace to buy the truth and not to sell it. Lord, I pray for divine wisdom as I listen to your divine instructions. Father, I pray that you will increase my understanding in Jesus’ name.
