Pray For Healing And Restoration

Today, we will pray for healing and restoration. God cares for both physical and emotional healing, providing comfort for those who are hurting. The Shunammite woman was hurt emotionally by the loss of her son. However, God divinely restored her son back to live. Restoration is part of God’s salvation plan. Jesus’ suffering brought us healing. The scriptures say that His stripes gave us healing. God declares Himself as the healer of His people, emphasizing His role in bringing physical and spiritual restoration. He said that He is the Lord that heals you. 

 Psalm 103:2-3 encourages believers to remember and thank God for His forgiveness and healing power. We need to show our gratitude to God for healing and restoration. John prayed for health and prosperity in 3 John 1:2. The bible verse shows that physical well-being is also valued alongside spiritual growth. It is true that God wants you to grow spiritually, but the well being of your soul and your body are equally important to Him. Jesus instructs His followers to carry out healing, demonstrating that healing is a key part of His ministry. Are you sick in your body? God promises to restore health and heal your wounds. He offers hope for those seeking recovery. 

God’s Promise of Restoration and Healing

Proverbs 4:20-22 (NIV)  says “My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to one’s whole body.” God’s Word is described as life-giving and health-giving, suggesting that staying close to His teachings brings healing. The Word of God has healing power. Psalm 107:20 (KJV) says  “He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” When you study and meditate on the Word of God, it serves as medication to your body, to your bones and to your bone marrow. There is no disease that the Word of God can not cure. 

Calling on God for Comfort and Restoration In Our Nation

National and personal healing can come as a response to repentance and prayer. 2 Chronicles 7:14 (NIV) says “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” Just the same way an individual can need healing, also a nation can need healing. A nation can be sick and needs God’s healing. So, this bible passage prescribes what can bring healing to a nation.

The people of God must humble themselves and pray and turn from their wicked ways. This shows that the sins of believers can be responsible for the sickness of a nation. If your nation is sick, God is able to bring healing and restoration to your nation. I pray that your nation will experience God’s healing in Jesus’ name. 

In Mark 5:34, Jesus attributes healing to faith, underscoring the importance of trust in God for physical and spiritual restoration. The scripture says that if you have faith like a mustard seed you can speak to a mountain to move and it will move. As we pray today, I pray that God will give us healing and restoration in Jesus’ name. 

Prayer Points:

1. Father, I pray for healing and restoration. Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise

Jeremiah 17:14 (NIV) 

“Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise.”

2. Father, I pray for healing and restoration. As I pray in faith and trust in your Word, I prophesy healing to my whole body in Jesus’ name. I pray that sin will not have dominion over me. So, I come against every sickness in my body that comes as a result of sin in Jesus’ name. 

James 5:14-15 (NIV) 

“Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.”

3. Father, I thank you because you heal the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds. Lord, I pray for healing and restoration in Jesus’ name. 

Psalm 147:3 (NLT) 

“He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.”

4. Father, I thank you because you were wounded because of my transgressions. Lord, I thank you because the chastisement that brought me peace was upon you. Father, I thank you for healing and restoration. 

Isaiah 53:5 (NKJV) 

“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.”

5. Father, I receive the grace to listen carefully to your Word and to carefully pay attention to your commands. Thank you Jesus for delivering me from all the diseases you brought upon the Egyptians. Lord, I thank you for healing and restoration. 

Exodus 15:26 (ESV)

He said, “If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.”

Prayer for Complete Renewal and Strength

6. Father, I thank you for all your benefits. Lord, I thank you for the forgiveness of my sins and for healing my diseases. Father, I thank you for healing and restoration. 

Psalm 103:2-3 (NIV) 

“Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.”

7. Father, I pray that you will prosper me in spirit, soul and body. Lord, I pray for healing and restoration. I pray for true prosperity. 

3 John 1:2 (KJV) 

“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”

8. Father, I pray for the grace to exercise the power that you have given me to heal the sick, to raise the dead, to cleanse leprosy and to drive out demons. Lord, I pray that I will begin to work in the realm of the supernatural in Jesus’ name. 

Matthew 10:8 (NIV)

“Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.”

9. Father, I pray that you will restore me to health and heal my wounds in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray for divine healing and restoration. 

Jeremiah 30:17 (NIV)

“But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the Lord.”

10. Father, I pray that as I cry to you for help today, I will receive healing in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray for healing and restoration. 

Psalm 30:2 (ESV)

“O Lord my God, I cried to you for help, and you have healed me.”

Prayer for God’s Transformative Healing Power

11. Father, I pray that because I fear your name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings and heal me in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray for healing and restoration. 

Malachi 4:2 (NLT) 

“But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings.”

12. Father, I pray for healing and restoration. Lord, I pray that as I pay attention to your Word and incline my ears to your saying, I will receive life and health in my whole body in Jesus’ name.

13. Father, I pray for healing and restoration in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray for personal and national healing.. Lord, I pray that you will revive all the believers in this land by forgiving their sins and healing our land.

14. Father, I pray that you will increase my faith to completely trust in you for my divine healing in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray for all those that the devil is tormenting with the spirit of infirmities that they will receive their healing right now in Jesus’ name

Mark 5:34 (NIV) 

“He said to her, ‘Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.’”

15. Father, I pray that you will restore me to health and let me live. I pray for healing and restoration in Jesus’  name. 

Isaiah 38:16 (NIV)

“Lord, by such things people live; and my spirit finds life in them too. You restored me to health and let me live.”
