Pray For The Grace To Be Confident In God’s Provision

Today, we will be praying for the grace to be confident in God’s provision. God promised us that He will meet all our needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” God assures believers of His abundant provision. He owns cattles upon ten thousand hills. He is more than able to supply all your needs. Jesus tells us not to worry about our needs but to “seek first his kingdom and his righteousness,” and all other needs will be provided.

The Psalmist says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” This classic psalm speaks to God’s role as our Shepherd, meeting all our needs. God will make you lie down in a green pasture. This shows that you will have more than enough. 2 Corinthians 9:8 (NIV) says, “God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” This verse underscores God’s generosity and provision, allowing us to focus on His work.

Pray For Unshakable Trust In God’s Provision

Don’t doubt the capacity of God to meet your needs. He is able and even more than able to supply your needs. The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.” If you are a God seeker, good things will begin to seek for you. Those who pursue God will have their needs met. God did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? God is willing to provide all we need, given the sacrifice of His Son. If God can give His only begotten Son, He is willing to give us all things. He promised to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

You need to trust in God’s guidance for His provision: Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV) says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” The Psalmist also says, “I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging for bread.” (Psalm 37:25). This is a testament to God’s enduring provision. You just need the grace to be confident in God’s provision. He is still in the business of meeting all needs.

Ask For Faith in God’s Ever-Present Provision

The presence of God guarantees your provision. 1 Chronicles 29:12 says, “Both riches and honor come from You, and You reign over all. In Your hand is power and might; In Your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all.” Riches and honor comes from God. God has said, ‘Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.'” This verse reinforces contentment and trust in God’s continual provision. So, if God does not leave nor forsake you and honor and riches come from Him, it shows that He has the capacity to meet your needs. When Jehoshaphat and the city of Judah worshiped God, He destroyed the three nations that waged a war against them. Eventually, they also had an abundant provision because they carried the spoils of the war for three days.

God said in Isaiah 41:10, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” This passage reassures us of God’s support and provision. Whatever you are fearful of is too small for God to handle. There is no bill that is too high that God cannot pay. There is no height that God can not take you to. As you pray today for the grace to be confident in God’s provision, I pray that the Lord will meet you at the point of your needs in Jesus’ name.
