Pray That Kings and Presidents will rule in the fear of God
Today, we will be praying that kings and presidents will rule in the fear of God. God wants His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. Our God rules righteously and justly. He wants this righteous rule to be replicated on earth. In the scripture, we have so many evil rulers and we also have those who rule righteously. When king Saul sinned against God, God sanctioned him through Prophet Samuel. 1 Samuel 13:14 says, “But now your kingdom will not endure; the Lord has sought out a man after his own heart and appointed him ruler of his people, because you have not kept the Lord’s command.” Today, God is still looking for kings and Presidents after His heart.
God expects the kings and the Presidents of nations to issue righteous decrees. Proverbs 9:10 says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.” The Word of God says here the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. This shows that the wisdom of God is available to the rulers if they fear God. We have seen in the scripture where some kings issued evil decrees. However, God’s expectations concerning our kings is for them to make just decrees. Proverbs 8:15 says, “Because of me, kings reign, and rulers make just decrees.” I pray that the kings and Presidents of nations will rule in the fear of God and submit to His will in Jesus’ name.
Pray That God Will Change Evil Laws And Decrees
A lot of perversions are going on presently in the world. We have seen nations enacting laws that are against the will of God. This is not really a new development because it also happened in the bible. There was a time when king Nebuchadnezzar fashioned an idol and commanded all the people in his domain to worship that idol. However, there were three Hebrews who stood against this decree. The king was furious and he threw them into the fiery furnace.
However, God delivered the three Hebrews supernaturally. When the king saw that the fire did now consume them, he changed his decree. Daniel 3:29 says, “Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak anything amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.” I pray that we will experience this kind of move of God in all the nations of the earth in Jesus’ name. I pray that kings and presidents of nations will start ruling in the fear of God.

The God of Israel, The Rock of Israel spoke to me, ‘He who rules over men righteously, Who rules in the fear of God
2. Father, I pray that you will touch the hearts of evil kings so that they will repent and start ruling in the fear of God. Lord, we pray that in all nations where idolatry has been elevated, let there be a great revival in Jesus’ name. Father, I pray that in all nations, they will worship the true and living God.
1 Kings 22:51-53
Ahaziah the son of Ahab began to reign over Israel in Samaria in the seventeenth year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, and he reigned two years over Israel. 52 He did what was evil in the sight of the Lord and walked in the way of his father and in the way of his mother and in the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin. 53 He served Baal and worshiped him and provoked the Lord, the God of Israel, to anger in every way that his father had done.
3. Father, I pray that every kingdom that will not rule in the fear of God will not endure. Lord, I pray that kings and presidents of nations will rule in righteousness in Jesus’ name
1 Samuel 13:14
But now your kingdom will not endure; the Lord has sought out a man after his own heart and appointed him ruler of his people, because you have not kept the Lord’s command.”
4. Father, I pray that you will plant your fear in the hearts of our rulers in Jesus’ name. Lord, we pray that kings and Presidents will rule in righteousness in Jesus’ name
Proverbs 9:10
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
5. Father, we pray that our kings and Presidents of nations will make just decrees in Jesus’ name. Lord, we pray that our rulers will rule in the fear of God
Proverbs 8:15
Because of me, kings reign, and rulers make just decrees.
6. Father, I pray that you will nullify all the evil laws and decrees in all the nations of the world in Jesus’ name. Lord, we pray that our political leaders will rule in the fear of God in Jesus’ name
Daniel 6:7-9
The royal administrators, prefects, satraps, advisers and governors have all agreed that the king should issue an edict and enforce the decree that anyone who prays to any god or human being during the next thirty days, except to you, Your Majesty, shall be thrown into the lions’ den. 8 Now, Your Majesty, issue the decree and put it in writing so that it cannot be altered—in accordance with the law of the Medes and Persians, which cannot be repealed.” 9 So King Darius put the decree in writing.
7. Father, I pray that you will touch the hearts of kings and Presidents nations and they will change all evil decrees in Jesus’ name. Lord, we pray that all the nations of the earth will rule in righteousness in Jesus’ name
Daniel 3:27-29
And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.
28 Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.
29 Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak anything amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.
8. Father, we pray that kings and Presidents of nations will not take laws into their hands. Lord, I pray that our kings and Presidents will rule in the fear of God and in righteousness in Jesus’ name
1 Samuel 13:13-14
“And Samuel said to Saul, “You have done foolishly. You have not kept the commandment of the Lord your God, which He commanded you. For now the Lord would have established your kingdom over Israel forever. 14 But now your kingdom shall not continue. The Lord has sought for Himself a man after His own heart, and the Lord has commanded him to be commander over His people, because you have not kept what the Lord commanded you.”
9. Father, we pray that you will establish your kingdom in all the nations of the earth in Jesus’ name. Lord, we pray that kings and Presidents of nations will rule according to the will of God in Jesus’ name.
Matthew 6:10
“Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
