Pray That You Will Know God Intimately And Love Him Passionately
Today, we will be praying that we will know God intimately and love Him passionately. Your knowledge about God determines your heights in Him. In the school system, the level of your knowledge determines your grade. You can not compare the knowledge of someone in Grade one to another person in Grade twelve. Also, the knowledge of someone in Grade twelve can not be compared with the knowledge of someone who has graduated from the University. The only exception to this rule is if that person has acquired an unconventional knowledge through study. In the same vein, your knowledge about God determines your level in Him.
Apostle Paul knows that the deeper your knowledge of God, the greater the exploits you will do for Him. Philippians 3:10 says, “I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death” Paul was always seeking for more knowledge. We will all agree Paul was highly knowledgeable. He wrote about two-thirds of the books in the New Testament. He saw a deep revelation about God to the extent that he went to the third heaven. Apostle Paul saw some things when he went to the third heavens that he could not even describe. Yet, he was still craving to know God more. This shows that it is very critical that we should know God intimately if we want to be successful in this Christian’s race.
Pray For The Grace To Know God And Love Him
Moses was another man who always craved to know God better. He had a supernatural encounter with God when he saw the burning bush. God was speaking to him face to face and mouth to mouth. He had a normal conversation with God as if he was conversing with a friend. While God fought the Egyptians with many plagues, Moses would always go back to God for instructions for the next line of action. God Himself testified about Moses that he was not an ordinary prophet that He speaks to through visions and dreams. He rebuked Aaron and Miriam when they confronted Moses and even Miriam had skin diseases for seven days. However,
Despite all these levels by which God interacted with Moses, he still pleaded with God that he would like to see Him face to face. He wanted to know God more. This shows us that we should pay any price to know God intimately. As we pray today, I pray that we will receive the grace to know God and love Him passionately in Jesus’ name.

5. Father, I pray for the grace to live above sin. Lord, I pray for the grace to live a holy life and to consistently live a holy life in Jesus’ name
1 John 3:6
No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him
6. Father, I pray for the grace to know you more and to listen to your mouth piece. Lord, I pray that you will deliver me from the spirit of falsehood and deliver me from false prophets. I pray for the grace to love God passionately in Jesus’ name
1 John 4:6-7
We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood. 7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God
7. Father, I pray that you will put your law in my mind and write them in my hearts. Lord, I pray that you will be my God as I am one of your people. I pray for the grace to know the Lord intimately and love Him passionately
Jeremiah 31:33-34
“This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time,” declares the LORD. “I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. 34 No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, ‘Know the LORD,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest,” declares the LORD. “For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”
8. Father, I pray that my boast will be in the fact that I have the understanding to know you that you are God. I pray that I will know you as God who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth. Lord, I pray that you will grant me the understanding to know you passionately
Jeremiah 9:23-24
This is what the LORD says: “Let not the wise boast of their wisdom or the strong boast of their strength or the rich boast of their riches, 24 but let the one who boasts boast about this: that they have the understanding to know me, that I am the LORD, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight,” declares the LORD.
9. Father, I pray that you will reveal your plans to me in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that you will give me the understanding to know that you have a plan to prosper me and not to harm me. I pray that anytime I pray to you, you will listen to me. Lord, I pray that as I seek you, I will find you as I seek you with all my heart
Jeremiah 29:11-13
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
