Pray That The Old Men Will Dream Dreams
Today, we will be praying that the old men will dream. One of the results of the outpouring of the Spirit of God is that our old men will start dreaming. Dreaming is not limited to the young ones. One of the ways God speaks to His prophets is through dreams. It means that our old men will start operating at the prophetic level. Numbers 12:6 says, “And he said, “Hear my words: If there is a Prophet among you, I the Lord make myself known to him in a vision; I speak with him in a dream.” God was telling Aaron and Miriam here that one of the ways He speaks to His Prophets is through dreams. Our old men will start receiving instructions from God through dreams as a result of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
You Can Have A Supernatural Encounter Through Dreams
It is also possible to have a supernatural encounter through a dream. There was a time when Jacob was traveling to Paddan Aram in Mesopotamia to live with Laban. On his way, God appeared to him and showed him a revelation through a dream. Genesis 28:12 says, “And he dreamed, and behold, there was a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven. And behold, the angels of God were ascending and descending on it!” When Jacob woke up, he said God was there and he did not know. Our old men can also have a similar encounter in their dream as a result of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
God Can Give Instructions Through Dream
God can also instruct our old men about their children in a dream. When Herod was about to kill Jesus, God told Joseph through a dream to take Jesus to Egypt. Matthew 2:13 says, “Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, “Rise, take the child and his mother, and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you, for Herod is about to search for the child, to destroy him.” This shows that there was a probability for Jesus to be killed before His time if the parents had refused to listen to God’s instructions. Our old men can also know the mind of God concerning their children through dreams.
God Can Answer Prayers Through Dream
When you pray to God, God can answer through dreams. Prior to when king Saul sinned against God, one of the ways that God was speaking to him was through dreams. 1 Samuel 28:15 says, “Samuel said to Saul, “Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up?” “I am in great distress,” Saul said. “The Philistines are fighting against me, and God has departed from me. He no longer answers me, either by prophets or by dreams. So I have called on you to tell me what to do.” If you consider the words of Saul here, he said that God no longer answers him by dreams. It shows that God was answering him by dreams before then. As we pray today, I pray that our old men will start receiving answers to their prayers through dreams in Jesus’ name.

- Father, I pray that our old men will dream dreams. Lord, I pray that just like you gave Jacob a revelation through dreams, you will open the eyes of our old men and they will dream dreams in Jesus’ name.
Genesis 28:12

2. Father, I pray that your angel will start appearing to our old men through dreams. Lord, I pray that our old men will have an encounter with you and you will instruct them through dreams in Jesus’ name
Matthew 2:13
Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, “Rise, take the child and his mother, and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you, for Herod is about to search for the child, to destroy him.”
3. Father, I pray that you will give our old men instructions through dreams. Lord, I pray that our old men will dream dreams in Jesus’ name
Matthew 27:19
“Besides, while he was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent word to him, ‘Have nothing to do with that righteous man, for I have suffered much because of him today in a dream.’”
4. Father, I pray that our old men will start operating in the prophetic through dreams in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that you will make yourself known to our old men through dreams in Jesus’ name
Numbers 12:6
And he said, “Hear my words: If there is a prophet among you, I the Lord make myself known to him in a vision; I speak with him in a dream.”
5. Father, I pray that our old men will experience the outpouring of the Spirit of God in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray our old men will dream dreams in Jesus’ name
Acts 2:17
“’In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.
6. Father, I pray that you will pour your Spirit on all people. Lord, I pray that our old men will do great and mighty exploits in Jesus’ name. I pray that our old men will dream dreams in Jesus’ name
Joel 2:28
“And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.
7. Father, I pray that our old men will dream dreams in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that you will answer our old men through dreams and tell them what to do in Jesus’ name

8. Father, I pray that you will give our old men the knowledge and understanding to understand visions and dreams of all kinds in Jesus’ name
Daniel 1:17
To these four young men God gave knowledge and understanding of all kinds of literature and learning. And Daniel could understand visions and dreams of all kinds.
9. Father, I pray that our old men will not only dream dreams, but they will also be able to interpret dreams in Jesus’ name
Genesis 40:8
“We both had dreams,” they answered, “but there is no one to interpret them.” Then Joseph said to them, “Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell me your dreams.”
10. Father, I pray that our old men will not prophesy false dreams in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that you will guide them by the power of the Holy Spirit in Jesus’ name
Jeremiah 23:32
Indeed, I am against those who prophesy false dreams,” declares the LORD. “They tell them and lead my people astray with their reckless lies, yet I did not send or appoint them. They do not benefit these people in the least,” declares the LORD.
