Pray For God’s Comfort and Peace

Pray For God’s Comfort and Peace

Today, we will pray for God’s comfort and peace. One of the names of Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace. He came to the world to give us peace. Since the Lord, who is the Prince of Peace, is your Shepherd, then He will always give you peace wherever you go. No wonder, He said that he has given us His peace not like the world gives. The Lord, who is our Shepherd, has also been chastised so that we can have peace. That is why the scripture says that the chastisement of our peace was upon Him.

There was a time when the disciples of Jesus were on the ship and there was a great storm that troubled the ship. The disciples cried out unto Jesus. He commanded the storm when there was a great calm. It shows you that if you are going through any form of storm, the Lord, who is your Shepherd, will give you peace. He can calm down all forms of storms in your life.

Embracing the Peace and Comfort of God

Jesus Christ is also our Comforter. He can give you all the comfort that you need. Prior to His ascension to heaven, He promised us another Comforter which is the Holy Spirit. Jesus mentioned another Comforter which indicates that we have a Comforter before He sent the Holy Spirit. That Comforter is Jesus Christ. He sent the Holy Spirit to take over from Him. The Holy Spirit is ready to make you comfortable in every area where you have discomfort. If you have been experiencing any hardship in any area of your life, the Holy Spirit will comfort you in Jesus’  name.

Are you experiencing trouble in your marriage? The Prince of Peace will give you peace. Are you experiencing discomfort in your health? The Holy Spirit will quicken your mortal body and restore your health. Are you experiencing trouble in your business? Jesus will give you peace and breakthrough in that business. Whatever challenges you have today will give way for God’s comfort and peace in Jesus’ name.
