Praying For Salvation of Souls

Night of Divine Encounter Prayers Day 7 - Prayer For Salvation Of Souls - Friday, July 2nd, 2021. Theme: Let my people go

Praying For Salvation of Souls

The greatest miracle that anyone can experience is the miracle of the salvation of souls. Matthew 8:36 says, “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?”  Gaining the wealth of the whole world altogether is not as valuable as a saved soul. What this means is that if you are saved, you are richer in the sight of God than the richest man on earth who is not yet saved.

Jesus said that there is no profit in gaining the whole world and losing your soul. The only major reason why God said he would deliver the Israelites from the Egyptian bondage was so that they might worship Him. He said this time and time again. In Exodus 8:1, that scripture says, “Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh and tell him: This is what the LORD says: Let my people go so that they can worship me.”

The reason why many are still under the yoke of Satan is that they have not made up their mind to worship God. The moment you make up your mind to worship God, you will be delivered from every form of bondage. When you refuse to serve God, the scripture says you will serve your enemies.

The Dangers of Not Serving God

Deuteronomy 28:47-48 says, “Because you did not serve the LORD your God joyfully and gladly in the time of prosperity, therefore in hunger and thirst, in nakedness and dire poverty, you will serve the enemies the LORD sends against you. He will put an iron yoke on your neck until he has destroyed you.” Many challenges that some are facing today are simply because they have refused to serve the Lord.

In Luke 19:1-10, Zacheus knew the importance of salvation. He wanted to see Jesus Christ at all costs. He was a short man, so he climbed the sycamore-fig tree. Jesus saw his desperation to be saved and when He met him. He said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house because this man, too, is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” (Luke 10:9-10).

Today, Jesus is still looking for those who are willing to be saved and are as desperate as Zacchaeus. He is still willing to save you. It doesn’t really matter how dirty you are, His blood is strong enough to cleanse you. To all those who want miracles, your miracle is not complete without an encounter with Jesus. Pray these prayers for your loved ones who are yet to be saved. Are you willing to give your life to Jesus? Make an appointment with Him today before it is too late. You are not safe if you are not saved.

  1. Pray that the God of peace will sanctify you completely. Also, pray that your whole spirit and soul and body will be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Thessalonians 5:23

Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2. I pray that I will not lose my soul in Jesus’ name. I will not love the pleasure of this world to the detriment of my soul. Today, I stepped out of darkness into God’s marvelous light in Jesus’ name.

Matthew 8:36

For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?

Colossians 1:13

“For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves”

3. I pray that today, salvation will come into my house. All the members of my household will be saved in Jesus’ name. The God who saved Zacheus and the jailer and his household will save all family members also in Jesus’ name

Luke 19:9

Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham.

Acts 16:31

And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

Acts 16:33

At that hour of the night, the jailer took them and washed their wounds; then immediately he and all his household were baptized.

4. Lord, we pray for all the lost sheep to regain their freedom in Christ today in Jesus’ name. Bring the lost sheep back home and let them be saved in Jesus’ name

Luke 15:7

Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.

5. Lord, we pray for all those that are yet to be saved in this city and in this nation that they will have an encounter with you today in Jesus’ name

John 3:16-17

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

6. Lord, I know that your wish is that any should not perish but that all should reach repentance, so, I pray for all those that are yet to be saved in my immediate family, in my extended family, in my city, and in my nation that will repent and turn to Christ today in Jesus’ name.

2 Peter 3:9

The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.

7. Father, I pray, that according to your Word, anyone who calls on the name of the Lord today will receive their salvation in Jesus’ name

Romans 10:13

For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

8. Lord, I pray that for all those who are yet to be saved, you will give them a new heart and a new spirit will be put within them in Jesus’ name. Lord, remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh in Jesus’ name.

Ezekiel 36:26

And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh

9. Lord, the scriptures say the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people and training them to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions and also to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age. Lord, all men are saved in Jesus’ name. Let there be a great revival in the nations of the world that will draw men to Christ in Jesus’ name.

Titus 2:11-12

“For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age”

2 Corinthians 5:17

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

10. Lord, in all the nations of the world, let your kingdom come, Lord. Let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We know that your kingdom is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Let us experience your kingdom of peace, righteousness, and joy in the Holy Spirit all over the world in Jesus’ name

Romans 14:17

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

11. Lord, we pray for those who are yet to be saved that they will believe today and be justified in Jesus’ name. They will confess Jesus Christ as Lord and be saved today in Jesus’ name. Your Word says, for everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved, so, Lord, we pray that people all over the world will have a divine encounter with Jesus Christ in Jesus’ name.

Romans 10:10-13

For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

12. Lord, we pray for all those who are zealous for you but not yet saved. We pray that they will have an encounter with you today. Deliver such people from zeal without knowledge. Deliver them from self-righteousness. Let them submit to your will and to your way. In Jesus’ name

Romans 10:1-4

Brothers and sisters, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved. For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge. Since they did not know the righteousness of God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness. Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.

13. Lord, we pray that there will be salvation even to the ends of the earth in Jesus’ name. Let our light shine so much before the unbelievers and let that draw them to Christ in Jesus’ name

Acts 13:47

For so the Lord has commanded us, saying, “‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’”

Matthew 5:16

In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

14. Pray for all that are yet to be saved, that they will repent and turn to Christ today. Also, pray that they will receive the forgiveness of their sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit. Cry unto God for lost souls to have a divine encounter with Jesus Christ. In Jesus’ name we pray

Acts 2:38

And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit

John 6:44

No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.

15. Lord, we pray for all the souls that are yet to be saved that they will receive Christ and not miss eternal life. We pray that they will escape the wrath of God in Jesus’ name

John 3:36

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him
