Pray For The Spirit Of Wisdom And Revelation
Today, we will be praying for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation. The Spirit of wisdom and revelation is so important that Apostle Paul constantly prayed for Ephesians that God will give them this Spirit. Ephesians 1:17 says, “I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.” Here, we realize that the Spirit of wisdom and revelation will help us to know God better. If you pray this prayer consistently, you will realize that the Holy Spirit will start unraveling the mysteries of the Word of God to you.
I believe that Paul operated in the Spirit of wisdom and revelation. If you read all the epistles that he wrote, you will realize that no one could have written such without the Spirit of wisdom and revelation. 1 Corinthians 2:12 says, “What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us.” The Spirit of wisdom and revelation helps us to understand what God has freely given us. It means that if you don’t understand what God has freely given us, it will be difficult for you to access them. I pray that the Lord will give us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in Jesus’ name.
Jesus Is The Wisdom Of God
The scripture let us know that Jesus Christ is the wisdom of God. 1 Corinthians 1:30 says, “And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption.” So, if Jesus Christ is the wisdom of God, it means He has the capacity to give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation. Through the Spirit of God, we will understand that Jesus is our righteousness, He is our sanctification and our redemption.
If you look at the seven dimensions of the Spirit of God, the Spirit of wisdom tops the list. Isaiah 11:2 says, “The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him— the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord .” This shows us how important the Spirit of wisdom is. The Spirit of wisdom has the capacity to teach us and give us revelation of the depths of God. 1 Corinthians 2:10 says, “These things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.” As we pray today, I pray that the Lord will give us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in Jesus’ name.

3. Father, I pray that your Word will dwell in us richly so that we teach and admonish one another in all wisdom. Lord, I pray that you will give me a heart of gratitude so that I can sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs with thanksgiving in my heart to God.
Colossians 3:16
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
4. Father, I pray that you will give me the grace to be rooted in you. Lord, I pray that you will give me more revelation of Jesus who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption
1 Corinthians 1:30
And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption.
5. Father, I pray that you will give me the revelation of Jesus and let me know Him as the power and the wisdom of God. Lord, I pray for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in Jesus’ name
1 Corinthians 1:24
But to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
6. Father, I pray that you will give me the revelation of Jesus Christ. Lord, I pray that you will fill me with the Spirit of wisdom and revel;ation in Jesus’ name

The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things that must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John
7. Father, I pray that you will fill me with the knowledge of your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. Lord, I pray that you will fill me with the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in Jesus’ name
Colossians 1:9
And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding
8. Father, I pray that you will reveal great and mighty things through your Spirit in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that your Spirit will reveal to me the depths of God. Father, give me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in Jesus’ name

These things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God
9. Father, I pray that you will give me your secret and hidden wisdom which you have decreed before the ages for our glory
1 Corinthians 2:7
But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glory.
10. Father, I pray that you will reveal to me the depth of your riches and wisdom and knowledge. Lord, I pray that you will reveal to me your unsearchable judgments and how instructive your ways are. Father, I pray for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation into your Word
Romans 11:33
Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!
11. Father, I pray that you will give me the grace to please you. Lord, I pray that as I please you, you will give me wisdom and knowledge and joy. Father, I pray for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in Jesus’ name
Ecclesiastes 2:26
For to the one who pleases him God has given wisdom and knowledge and joy, but to the sinner he has given the business of gathering and collecting, only to give to one who pleases God. This also is vanity and a striving after wind.
12. Father, I pray that you will give me wisdom and understanding. Lord, I pray for the grace to cherish wisdom more than gold and silver
Proverbs 16:16
How much better to get wisdom than gold! To get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.
13. Father, I pray for the grace to fear you. Lord, I pray that as I fear you, you will give me wisdom and knowledge in Jesus’ name. Father, I pray that you will give me a great insight into your Word
Proverbs 9:10
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight
14. Father, I pray that you will give me wisdom, knowledge and understanding in Jesus’ name.
Proverbs 2:6
For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding
15. Father, I pray for the grace to fear you and to turn away from evil in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that you will give me wisdom and understanding.
Job 28:28
And he said to man, ‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to turn away from evil is understanding.
16. Father, I pray that you will give me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation of Jesus Christ. Lord, I pray that I will know you better and serve you better in Jesus’ name
Galatians 1:12
For I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation of Jesus Christ.
17. Father, I pray that you will give me visions and revelations into your Word in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray for the grace to do your will and serve you all the days of my life
2 Corinthians 12:1
I must go on boasting. Though there is nothing to be gained by it, I will go on to visions and revelations of the Lord.
18. Father, I pray for the grace to constantly shine my light in the midst of darkness in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that you will give me the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in Jesus’ anime. Father, I pray that you will give me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in Jesus’ name.
2 Corinthians 4:6
For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
