Pray For Supernatural Promotion In Your Career
Today, we will pray for supernatural promotion in your career. There are so many factors that can contribute to your promotion. One of these is competence. Proverbs 22:29 says, Do you see any truly competent workers? They will serve kings rather than working for ordinary people.” When you are skillful and competent, you will easily get your promotion. You will not work for ordinary people but you will work for kings. However, diligence alone does not guarantee your promotion. The Israelites while they were in slavery in Egypt were diligent but they were poorly compensated. They were building fantastic edifices but they paid them peanuts. That is why you need a supernatural promotion.
In any case, you cannot be lazy and pray to God to bless your laziness. You have to play your part and pray to God to play His own part. Psalm 75:6-7 says, “For exaltation comes neither from the east nor from the west nor from the south. But God is the Judge:He puts down one, and exalts another.” It is only God that can guarantee your supernatural promotion. Mordecai was hardworking. As a security guard, he was diligent and intelligent enough to be able to know when some people were plotting a coup to kill the king. He leaked the secret to the king through Esther. Esther mentioned his name to the king, yet he was not promoted. It was after they fasted and prayed that the king remembered him and promoted him.
Supernatural Promotion Comes From God
Joseph was another man who was very diligent. His boss, Potiphar, noticed that he had an excellent spirit and promoted him. Potiphar’s business prospered under Joseph yet there was no record that he compensated Joseph. He gave Joseph a title without remuneration. Are you also working so hard without adequate compensation? I pray that the Lord will give you a supernatural promotion in Jesus’ name. The wife of Potiphar lied against Joseph and he sent him to the prison for a sin he did not commit. In the process, his leadership skills were also discovered in the prison. He became a leader in the prison but yet no record of adequate compensation. Eventually when God remembered him, he got a supernatural promotion into the king’s palace.
If you read the book of Daniel, you will realize that Daniel got supernatural promotion several times. He got his promotion because God revealed mysteries to him. He was able to interpret dreams and visions which other astrologers were not able to interpret. This shows us that supernatural promotion comes from God. As we pray today, I pray that the Lord will give you a supernatural promotion in your career in Jesus’ name.
Prayer Points
- Father, I pray for a supernatural promotion. Lord, I know that promotion comes from you. So, I pray that you will promote me supernaturally in Jesus’ name.

3. Father, I pray that you will give me a supernatural promotion in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that you will elevate me beyond my imagination in Jesus’ name
Genesis 41:40
You shall be over my house, and according to your command all my people shall do homage; only in the throne I will be greater than you.”
4. Father, I pray for the grace to be industrious in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray for a supernatural promotion in Jesus’ name.

Now the man Jeroboam was a valiant warrior, and when Solomon saw that the young man was industrious, he appointed him over all the forced labor of the house of Joseph.
5. Father, I pray that every boss that tries to suppress my promotion will be the one to announce my promotion in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that when there is a gang up against me in my organization, you will turn the table around in my favour in Jesus’ name.
Esther 6:11
So Haman took the robe and the horse, and arrayed Mordecai, and led him on horseback through the city square, and proclaimed before him, “Thus it shall be done to the man whom the king desires to honor.”
6. Father, I pray that you will give me the Spirit of excellence like you gave to Daniel in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that through the excellent Spirit that you have given to me, you will give me a supernatural promotion in Jesus’ name
Daniel 2:48-49
Then the king promoted Daniel and gave him many great gifts, and he made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon and chief prefect over all the wise men of Babylon. And Daniel made request of the king, and he appointed Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego over the administration of the province of Babylon, while Daniel was at the king’s court.
7. Father, I pray that you will cause me to prosper in my organization in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that you will favour me and give me a supernatural promotion in Jesus’ name
Daniel 3:30
Then the king caused Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego to prosper in the province of Babylon.
8. Father, I pray that this month, there will be an order from my organization about my supernatural promotion in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that you will release your supernatural blessings upon me as a result of this promotion in Jesus’ name
Daniel 5:29
Then Belshazzar gave orders, and they clothed Daniel with purple and put a necklace of gold around his neck, and issued a proclamation concerning him that he now had authority as the third ruler in the kingdom.
9. Father, I pray that you will deliver me from a wicked boss in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that you will demote any wicked boss who are trying to usurp his or her authority against me in Jesus’ name
Esther 3:1
After these events King Ahasuerus promoted Haman, the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, and advanced him and established his authority over all the princes who were with him.
10. Father, I pray that I will take my rightful position in my organization in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that a slave will not rule over me in Jesus’ name
Proverbs 19:10
Luxury is not fitting for a fool; Much less for a slave to rule over princes.
11. Father, I pray that you will supernaturally promote me to my rightful position in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that you will enthrone me and dethrone the slaves riding on horses in Jesus’ name
Ecclesiastes 10:7
I have seen slaves riding on horses and princes walking like slaves on the land.
12. Father, I pray that you will avert all the plans of the enemies against my promotion. I pray that in spite of the evil plots of the enemies, you will give me a supernatural promotion in Jesus’ name
Genesis 45:8
Now, therefore, it was not you who sent me here, but God; and He has made me a father to Pharaoh and lord of all his household and ruler over all the land of Egypt.
13. Father, I pray that you will bring me out of obscurity into the limelight in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that the same way you promoted David supernaturally by bringing him from the bush to the palace, you will give me a supernatural promotion in Jesus’ name

“Now therefore, thus you shall say to My servant David, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts, “I took you from the pasture, from following the sheep, to be ruler over My people Israel.
14. Father, I pray you will give me the Spirit of excellence and distinguish me for greatness in my organization in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that you will give me a supernatural promotion in Jesus’ name
Daniel 6:3
Then this Daniel began distinguishing himself among the commissioners and satraps because he possessed an extraordinary spirit, and the king planned to appoint him over the entire kingdom.
15. Father, I pray that every boss that is working against the purpose of God for my life will be brought down in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that you will give me a supernatural promotion in Jesus’ name
