Pray Against Stagnancy In Your Career

Pray Against Stagnancy In Your Career

Today, we will be praying against stagnancy in our career. It is not the will of God for us to be stagnant in our careers. God expects us to make progress in whatever He has committed into our hands. Stagnancy at times can come as a result of sin. God told the Israelites that He will take them to a land that is flowing with milk and honey. The reason why He delivered them from the Egyptian’s bondage was to take them to Canaan. However, when they sin against God, they start moving in circles. They were at the same spot for years for this reason. God eventually delivered them from stagnancy and they were able to move forward.

Deuteronomy 1:6-8 says, “The LORD our God said to us in Horeb, ‘You have stayed long enough at this mountain. Turn and take your journey, and go to the hill country of the Amorites and to all their neighbors in the Arabah, in the hill country and in the lowland and in the Negeb and by the seacoast, the land of the Canaanites, and Lebanon, as far as the great river, the river Euphrates. See, I have set the land before you. Go in and take possession of the land that the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give to them and to their offspring after them.” This was the beginning of their breakthrough.

If you have also been stagnant in your career for a very long time, the Word of the Lord is coming to you right now and He is telling you to move forward. The stagnancy is over in Jesus’ name.

God Can Deliver From Career Stagnancy

Many people are putting a lot of effort in their career like Peter but there is no breakthrough. They put in their best in their career yet there is nothing to show for it.  Many are already frustrated and they have given up just like Peter. The Word of the Lord is coming to you today just like Jesus spoke to Peter. Every form of stagnancy in your career is over in Jesus’ name. I pray that you will move forward in your career as from now on in Jesus’ name.

The Israelites were also stagnant while working in Egypt. They were working hard yet there was little or no remuneration. They were on the same spot for several years. One day, they cried unto God just like you are doing today and God heard them. God delivered them from their cruel employer and He promoted them. I pray that as we cry unto God today, all forms of stagnancy in your career is over in Jesus’ name.

Special Bible Passage

Genesis 26:18-22

And Isaac dug again the wells of water which they had dug in the days of Abraham his father, for the Philistines had stopped them up after the death of Abraham. He called them by the names which his father had called them. 19 Also Isaac’s servants dug in the valley, and found a well of running water there. 20 But the herdsmen of Gerar quarreled with Isaac’s herdsmen, saying, “The water is ours.” So he called the name of the well Esek, because they quarreled with him.

21 Then they dug another well, and they quarreled over that one also. So he called its name Sitnah. 22 And he moved from there and dug another well, and they did not quarrel over it. So he called its name Rehoboth, because he said, “For now the Lord has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.”
