Thank God for a Year of Supernatural Provision

Thank God for a Year of Supernatural Provision

Today, we will be thanking God for a year of supernatural provision. God has the capacity to provide for us supernaturally. When God realized that the Egyptians cheated the Israelites for several years by working without adequate compensation, He made an arrangement for them to collect their wages. In one day of favor they were paid for all the years of their labor in Egypt. Exodus 12:36 says, “The LORD had made the Egyptians favorably disposed toward the people, and they gave them what they asked for; so they plundered the Egyptians.” They collected articles of silver and gold and for clothing. Therefore, when God decides to give you a supernatural provision, He will cause men to favor you.

God Provided For Obed-Edom Supernaturally

There was a time when David was bringing the ark of the Lord back to Israel when the Philistines took it away. The ark was falling off and Uzzah tried to help out and he died as a result. So, David abandoned the ark of God in Obed-Edom’s house. As a result Obededom was blessed supernaturally.  WIthin three months, he was blessed so much that the king had to go back for the ark. The same ark  that killed Uzzah was the same ark that blessed Obed-Edom. It means that two people can do the same business and one person will be tremendously blessed because God has decided to favor him, while the other might experience great loss. I pray that God will provide for you supernaturally this year in Jesus’ name.

The Widow Who Experienced a Supernatural Provision

The widow who was a wife  of a Prophet who had a huge debt ran to Elisha. The debt was so huge that her creditors planned to take her children away. God told her through Elisha to go and borrow many vessels and pour the jar of oil drop by drop into the vessels she borrowed. All the vessels were filled up supernaturally. That is an example of a supernatural provision. Since God is the same yesterday today and forever, you can thank God in advance because you will experience a supernatural provision this year in Jesus’ name.

Prayer Points: Supernatural Provision

  1. Father, I thank you for your supernatural provision in my life this year. Lord, I thank you because for all my years of labor, I will experience a day of favor. Lord, let this usher in supernatural provision in Jesus’ name.

Exodus 12:35-36

The Israelites did as Moses instructed and asked the Egyptians for articles of silver and gold and for clothing. 36 The Lord had made the Egyptians favorably disposed toward the people, and they gave them what they asked for; so they plundered the Egyptians.

2. Father, I pray that this year, you will answer my prayer and give me good gifts as you have promised. Lord, let me experience a supernatural provision in Jesus’ name

Matthew 7:11

If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

3. Father, I pray that this year, I will not lack good things according to your promise. I thank you because you will provide for me supernaturally in Jesus’ name

Psalm 34:10

The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.

4. Father, I thank you because this year, you will be my shepherd and I will lack nothing. Thank you Jesus for supplying all my needs

Psalm 23:1

The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing.

5. Father, I pray that you will provide for me supernaturally like you did at the gate of Samaria. I thank you Lord because I will not experience recession this year in Jesus’ name

2 Kings 7:1

Elisha replied, “Hear the word of the LORD. This is what the LORD says: About this time tomorrow, a seah of the finest flour will sell for a shekel and two seahs of barley for a shekel at the gate of Samaria.”

6. Father, I pray that every Word that you have spoken about your supernatural provision in my life will come to pass in Jesus’ name. I thank you Lord because your Word in my life is settled

2 Kings 7:18

It happened as the man of God had said to the king: “About this time tomorrow, a seah of the finest flour will sell for a shekel and two seahs of barley for a shekel at the gate of Samaria.”

7. Father, you feed and  provide for the ravens who have no storeroom or barn. I pray that you will provide for me supernaturally in Jesus’ name

Luke 12:24

Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds!

8. Father, I pray that you will not forsake me. I pray that I will not beg for bread this year in Jesus’ name. Lord, I thank you for a supernatural provision

Psalm 37:25

I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.

9. Father, I pray that just like you provided for the raven when its young cry out to God and wander for lack of food, you will provide for me supernaturally in Jesus’ name

Job 38:41

Who provides food for the raven when its young cry out to God and wander about for lack of food?

Special Bible Passages

2 Samuel 6:1-7

David again brought together all the able young men of Israel—thirty thousand. 2 He and all his men went to Baalah in Judah to bring up from there the ark of God, which is called by the Name, the name of the LordAlmighty, who is enthroned between the cherubim on the ark. 3 They set the ark of God on a new cart and brought it from the house of Abinadab, which was on the hill. Uzzah and Ahio, sons of Abinadab, were guiding the new cart 4 with the ark of God on it, and Ahio was walking in front of it. 5 David and all Israel were celebrating with all their might before the Lord, with castanets, harps, lyres, timbrels, sistrums and cymbals.

6 When they came to the threshing floor of Nakon, Uzzah reached out and took hold of the ark of God, because the oxen stumbled. 7 The Lord’s anger burned against Uzzah because of his irreverent act; therefore God struck him down, and he died there beside the ark of God.

2 Samuel 6:8-15

8 Then David was angry because the Lord’s wrath had broken out against Uzzah, and to this day that place is called Perez Uzzah.

9 David was afraid of the Lord that day and said, “How can the ark of the Lord ever come to me?” 10 He was not willing to take the ark of the Lord to be with him in the City of David. Instead, he took it to the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite. 11 The ark of the Lord remained in the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite for three months, and the Lord blessed him and his entire household.

12 Now King David was told, “The Lord has blessed the household of Obed-Edom and everything he has, because of the ark of God.” So David went to bring up the ark of God from the house of Obed-Edom to the City of David with rejoicing. 13 When those who were carrying the ark of the Lord had taken six steps, he sacrificed a bull and a fattened calf. 14 Wearing a linen ephod, David was dancing before the Lord with all his might, 15 while he and all Israel were bringing up the ark of the Lord with shouts and the sound of trumpets.

2 Kings 4:1-7

Now the wife of the son of one of the men who tell what will happen in the future cried out to Elisha, “Your servant, my husband, is dead. You know that your servant honored the Lord with fear. But the man to whom he owed money has come to take my two children to make them serve him.” 2 Elisha said to her, “What can I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” And she said, “Your woman servant has nothing in the house except a jar of oil.”

3 Then he said, “Go around and get jars from all your neighbors. Get empty jars, many of them. 4 Then go in and shut the door behind you and your sons. Pour the oil into all these jars, and set aside each one that is full.” 5 So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons. They took the jars to her, and she poured.

6 When the jars were full, she said to her son, “Bring me another jar.” And he said to her, “There is not one jar left.” Then the oil stopped flowing. 7 She came and told the man of God. And he said, “Go and sell the oil and pay what you owe. You and your sons can live on the rest.”
