Thank God For Giving You A Heart On Fire
Today, you should thank God for giving you a heart on fire for Him. If you have a heart that is burning for God, it is definitely not your doing. An encounter with God can set your heart on fire. Paul was really not on fire for God until he met Jesus on his ways to Damascus. As soon as he met God, everything about him changed. He was on fire for God. He was able to do great and mighty exploits for God. Jesus came to this world to baptize us with the Holy Spirit and fire. If that fire is already burning inside of you, you need to thank God for that. Genuine fire in our heart can only be from God.
Moses was also tending his father-in-law’s flock until he had an encounter with the fire of God. Since he had that encounter, his heart was on fire for God. He was very reluctant to do the assignment that God gave him, but through that encounter, he received supernatural strength. He was lethargic concerning his purpose on earth until God set his heart on fire. The same God is setting your heart on fire today, so you have to thank God in advance.
God Can Set Your Heart On Fire
Elijah was another man who was on fire for God. The fire in his heart definitely came from God. He activated the fire in his life so much that he called down fire upon those who came to arrest him. There was also a time when he called down fire on the altar when he had a contest with the prophet of baal. The fire licked the water and consumed the sacrifice. Elijah was so much on fire to the extent that he was transported to heaven by a chariot of fire. The same God who gave Elijah a heart on fire will give you such a heart today. So, let us thank God in advance.
This fire of the Holy Spirit came upon all the disciples who waited at the upper room for the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The fire of the Holy Spirit has been sustaining the church since then. The fragrance of the fire is spreading all over the world through the believers. I pray that you will not be left out in this fire of revival and the move of God. Today, we will express our gratitude to God for giving us a heart that is on fire for Him.
