Pray That The Fire on Your Altar Will Keep Burning
Today, you should pray that the fire on your altar will keep burning. God does not expect the fire on our altar to go down. Altar is a place where humanity commune with divinity. Anytime Abraham had an encounter with God, he erected an altar for God. The altar is a place of divine encounter with God. Leviticus 6:13 says, “Fire shall be kept burning on the altar continually; it shall not go out.” That is why the scripture admonishes us to pray without ceasing. The fire on your altar needs to keep burning. When you are constantly on fire, no devil will be able to come near you. Satan is described as Beelzebub which means prince of devils or lord of flies. Any fly that comes near a man on fire will be roasted.
Also in the book of Matthew 16:5, the scripture admonishes us to shine our light before others so that God can be glorified. Jesus said that when our light shines, people will see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven. Consider the electric bulb. for it to constantly shine, electricity must be generated. The variety of facilities that generate electricity include coal- and natural gas-burning power plants, hydroelectric dams, nuclear power plants, wind turbines, and solar panels. Without the bulb connected to any of these power sources, it will be difficult for it to shine. In like manner, we can not shine as christian unless we are connected to the power source which is Jesus Christ. One of the major ways we can stay connected to Jesus is through our prayer life. The fire on our altar must keep on burning.
Staying In God’s Presence Will Keep Your Fire Burning
When you stay in God’s presence and commune with Him, you will be transformed from glory to glory. Moses was in the presence of God for forty days. By the time he came down from the mountain, his face shone to the extent that the people could not look at his face. Exodus 34:29 says, “When Moses came down from Mount Sinai, with the two tablets of the testimony in his hand as he came down from the mountain, Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone because he had been talking with God.” The reason Moses’ face shone was because he had been talking with God. When you stay in the presence of God, the Consuming Fire, you will become a flame of fire. That is why you must never allow the fire on your altar to go down.
As you pray today, tell God to give you the grace to repair your prayer altar. Pray that the fire on your altar will keep burning throughout your lifetime in Jesus’ name.

4. Father, I pray for the grace not to be slothful in zeal. I pray that I will be fervent in spirit as I serve the Lord in Jesus’ name.
Romans 12:11
Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord.
5. Father, I pray that as I look unto you, I will be radiant and my face shall never be ashamed. Lord, I pray that the fire on my altar will keep burning in Jesus’ name.
Psalm 34:5
Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed.
6. Father, I pray that the fire on my altar will keep burning and it shall not go out in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that you will ignite my prayer life and I will pray to you without ceasing in Jesus’ name
Leviticus 6:12
The fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it; it shall not go out. The priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and he shall arrange the burnt offering on it and shall burn on it the fat of the peace offerings
7. Father, I pray for the grace to constantly tarry in your presence until I become radiant like you. I pray that the world will feel the impact of your fire burning within me in Jesus’ name.

8. Father, I pray that you will make me a flame of fire as you have promised in your Word in Jesus’ name. I pray that the fire on my altar will keep burning in Jesus’ name.

The hairs of his head were white, like white wool, like snow. His eyes were like a flame of fire,
9. Father, I receive the grace not to quench the Spirit of revival that you have kindled within me in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that the fire within me will keep burning in Jesus’ name
1 Thessalonians 5:19
Do not quench the Spirit
10. Father, I pray that you will renew my inner self day by day through your fire in Jesus’ name. I pray that the light momentary affliction that I have faced will prepare me for an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison. Lord, I pray for the grace to constantly gaze on the unseen things which are eternal in Jesus’ name.
2 Corinthians 4:16-18
So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
11. Father, I pray that you will baptize me with your Holy Ghost and power in Jesus’ name. I pray for the grace to do an unusual exploits for you in Jesus’ name
Acts 1:8
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
12. Father, I pray for the grace to constantly build altars for you all over the world as you use me to set the whole world ablaze for you in Jesus’ name. I pray that the fire on my altar will keep burning in Jesus’ name.
1 Chronicles 21:26
And David built there an altar to the Lord and presented burnt offerings and peace offerings and called on the Lord, and the Lord answered him with fire from heaven upon the altar of burnt offering.
