Pray That The Fire In Your Heart Will Not Go Out
Today, you should pray that the fire in your heart will not go out. After you have given your life to Jesus Christ, you need to pray that He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. This fire is ignited in your heart. This is the fire of the Holy Spirit. Peter and the rest of the disciples got this fire on the day of Pentecost. The moment the disciples received the fire, they started unusual exploits for God. They started spreading the fragrance of the fire everywhere. Peter was able to preach one sermon and thousands of souls were added to the Church. He met a lame man at the entrance of the temple and he was healed after he prayed for him. The timid Peter became very bold. That is what the fire in your heart as a believer can do.
The Fire of Revival In The Early Church
There was a time they arrested and jailed the Apostles. The arrest did not discourage them from preaching the gospel. They beat them and later released them. After they left the prison, they rejoiced because they were persecuted for Christ. Persecution was not able to quench the fire in their heart. Instead, it only fanned the flame of fire to burn the more. A man whose heart is on fire is unstoppable. They are ready to go the extra mile for the sake of the gospel.
When Paul also caught this fire, he went everywhere preaching the gospel. He brought many souls into the kingdom. The persecutor became a preacher and broke so many fallow ground. He was not afraid of persecution nor was he afraid of death. He wrote the message in book of Romans 8:35-39 that nothing can separate him from the love of God. That is a message of a man whose heart is on fire.
Romans 8:35-39
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
This message can only come from a man whose heart is on fire for God. Nothing could stop Paul from preaching the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. When your heart is also on fire for God, you will do a great and mighty exploits for God. As we pray today, I pray that the fire in your heart will not go out in Jesus’ name.

3. Father, I pray that my heart will become like a burning fire in Jesus’ name. I pray that you will use me mightily for your glory in Jesus’ name.
Jeremiah 20:9
But if I say, “I will not remember Him or speak anymore in His name,” Then in my heart it becomes like a burning fire shut up in my bones; and I am weary of holding it in, and I cannot endure it.
4. Father, I pray that through me you will spread the fragrance of your fire on earth in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that the fire in my heart will not go out in Jesus’ name
Luke 12:49
“I have come to cast fire upon the earth; and how I wish it were already kindled!
5. Father, I pray that your Word will become fire in my heart in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that your Word in my mouth will set the whole world ablaze in Jesus’ name
Luke 24:32
They said to one another, “Were not our hearts burning within us while He was speaking to us on the road, while He was explaining the Scriptures to us?”
6. Father, I pray that your Word in me will be like fire in Jesus’ name. I pray that your fire will destroy all impurities in my heart and set me ablaze in Jesus’ name
Jeremiah 23:29
Is not my word like fire, declares the Lord, and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?
7. Father, I pray that the fire in my heart will not go out in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that you will make your Word in my mouth a fire in Jesus’ name
Jeremiah 5:14
Therefore thus says the Lord, the God of hosts: “Because you have spoken this word, behold, I am making my words in your mouth a fire, and this people wood, and the fire shall consume them.
8. Father, I pray that you will baptize me with your fire in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that your fire will rest permanently upon my heart in Jesus’ name
Acts 2:3
And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them.
9. Father, I pray that you will fill me with your Holy Spirit and fire in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that your fire in my heart will never go down in Jesus’ name
Luke 3:16
John answered them all, saying, “I baptize you with water, but he who is mightier than I is coming, the strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
