Pray That The Lord Will Protect You With His Chariots of Fire

Pray That The Lord Will Protect You With His Chariots of Fire

Today, you should pray that the Lord will protect you with His chariots of fire. God promised us that He will command His angels to guard us in all our ways. Psalm 91:11-12 says, “For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; They will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.” This shows that we constantly have some bodyguards of angels that are guarding us in all our ways. When we are conscious of this we will not be afraid of the enemies and we will not fear any evil.

God Surrounded Elisha With Chariots And Horses Of Fire

There was a time when some soldiers came to arrest Elisha. His servant was panicking because he did not know that there were some angels guarding them. However, his master told him not to panic because God’s angels are protecting them. The fact that you don’t see your angels does not mean that they are not there for you all the time Elisha prayed that God should open his eyes. 2 Kings 6:17 says, “And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, LORD, so that he may see.” Then the LORD opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.” It shows that it is possible for you to have physical eyes but to be blind spiritually. If God opens your eyes, you will realize that you are protected with His chariots of fire.

God Promise To Give His Angels Charge Over You

Satan also knows that we have the authority to command our angels to act on our behalf. Luke 4:5-6 says, “Then the devil took Him up into the holy city, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written: ‘He shall give His angels charge over you,’ and, ‘In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.’ ” In this passage of the scripture, Satan was tempting Jesus and he quoted the scripture to Him. However, Satan was wrongly dividing the Word of truth. That was the only reason Jesus did not answer Him. In any case, the Word of God is true. God has commanded His angels to guard us. The angels are always there to listen to our instructions.

God Demonstrated That We Can Command Our Angels

When the soldiers came to arrest Jesus, He said that He has the authority to call twelve legions of angels to defend Him. He only refused to use that authority because He wanted to obey the Father. God’s will for Jesus is to die on the cross in order to save mankind. So, Jesus obeyed the Father and He refused to use His authority. If not, He would never be arrested. In Matthew 26:53-54, Jesus said, “Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?” So, we are constantly surrounded with the chariots of fire. You can use them to your advantage at any time.

As we pray today, we will activate our angels to constantly act on our behalf. We will continue to live in the consciousness that we have God’s chariots and horses of fire who are constantly protecting us.
