Praying Against Delay In Child Bearing
Today, we will be praying against delay in child bearing. There are several women who had a delay in child bearing. However, God gave all these women children. The only woman who had no child till her death in the bible was Michal, the wife of David. She was barren because she despised her husband, David, while he was dancing and praising God when he was bringing the ark of God. Some of the women who had a delay in child bearing are Sarah, Rebekah, Rachel, the wife of Manoah, mother of Samson and the great woman of Shunem, also called the Shunammite.
Effect of Delay In Child Bearing
Delay in child bearing can cause you to take some action that you are not supposed to take. Sarah had a delay in child bearing and she waited for twenty-five years before she had a child. In the process of waiting, she wrongly advised her husband to sleep with Hagar which led to the birth of Ishmael. Many have gone to look for solutions where there are none due to a delay in child bearing. Have you been in the waiting room expecting God to give you a child? I pray that your wait is over in Jesus’ name.
When God eventually promised Sarah that she would have a child in a year’s time, she did not believe God. She thought that her case was irredeemable. She said that she had passed the time of child bearing and her body was as good as dead. However, the God who created the womb gave her the strength to conceive. Probably you also think that all hope is lost for you. Peradventure you have passed the age of child bearing, I want to assure you that there is nothing too hard for God to do. You will conceive and give birth to a child. The same God that turned Hannah who was childless to a mother of many children will give you a child in Jesus’ name.

2. Father, we pray for all those who are waiting on you for a child at the moment, that you will open up their womb and give them children in Jesus’ name

Isaac prayed to the LORD on behalf of his wife, because she was childless. The LORD answered his prayer, and his wife Rebekah became pregnant.
3. Father, I pray that just as you remember Rachel, you will remember all those who are trusting for a child in Jesus’ name
Genesis 30:22
Then God remembered Rachel; he listened to her and enabled her to conceive and she conceived and gave birth to a son. “God has taken away my shame,” she said
4. Father, I pray that you will remember all those who are in deep anguish due to childlessness like Hannah that you will answer them and turn their mourning into dancing again in Jesus’ name
1 Samuel 1:10-17
Hannah was in deep anguish, crying bitterly as she prayed to the Lord. 11 And she made this vow: “O Lord of Heaven’s Armies, if you will look upon my sorrow and answer my prayer and give me a son, then I will give him back to you. He will be yours for his entire lifetime, and as a sign that he has been dedicated to the Lord, his hair will never be cut.”
12 As she was praying to the Lord, Eli watched her. 13 Seeing her lips moving but hearing no sound, he thought she had been drinking. 14 “Must you come here drunk?” he demanded. “Throw away your wine!”
15 “Oh no, sir!” she replied. “I haven’t been drinking wine or anything stronger. But I am very discouraged, and I was pouring out my heart to the Lord. 16 Don’t think I am a wicked woman! For I have been praying out of great anguish and sorrow.”
17 “In that case,” Eli said, “go in peace! May the God of Israel grant the request you have asked of him.”
5. Father, I pray that you will send your angels to give those who are currently waiting on you for a child good news in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that this month, they will be pregnant and give birth to children in Jesus’ name
Judges 13:3
The angel of the LORD appeared to her and said, “You are barren and childless, but you are going to become pregnant and give birth to a son.
6. Father, I pray that just as you answer Sarah who had passed the age of child bearing, you will answer all those who are currently hopeless and give them children in Jesus’ name
Genesis 21:2
Sarah became pregnant and bore a son to Abraham in his old age, at the very time God had promised him.
7. Father, I pray that as you bring these waiting mothers into a position of pregnancy, they will all deliver safely in Jesus’ name
Luke 1:57
When it was time for Elizabeth to have her baby, she gave birth to a son.
8. Father, I pray that all those who have been serving you wholeheartedly will be delivered from miscarriage or barrenness in Jesus’ name
Exodus 23:25-26
So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take away sickness from among you and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span.
9. Father, I pray that you will deliver all those who are barren due to the mistake they have made in the past and give them children in Jesus’ name

Michal, the daughter of Saul, had no child to the day of her death.
10. Father, I pray every member of BKCC and those connected with this mission shall be blessed above all peoples. Lord, I pray that there will be no male or female barren among BKCC family in Jesus’ name
Deuteronomy 7:14
You shall be blessed above all peoples; there will be no male or female barren among you or among your cattle.
11. Father, I pray that all those who are barren will shout for joy in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that the sons of desolate one will be numerous in Jesus’ name
Isaiah 54:1
“Shout for joy, O barren one, you who have borne no child; Break forth into joyful shouting and cry aloud, you who have not travailed; For the sons of the desolate one will be more numerous. Than the sons of the married woman,” says the Lord.
