Thanking God For His Word and Promises
Night of Divine Encounter (NODE) 6th Edition, Day 1 - Thanking God for His Word and Promises- Join us on Friday, December 3rd, 2021 for the Night of Divine Encounter between 7pm to 10pm MST. Theme: The Word of God
The Word of God
The Word of God is a major asset we have as believers. If you have nothing but you have the Word of God, you have everything. If you are sick in your body and you take a solace in the Word of God then your healing is certain. He has sent His Word and healed our disease (Psalm 107:20). All the major prophets in the scriptures are great simply because the Word of God came to them. The Word of God met many of them as ordinary people and changed them to extraordinary personalities and we are still reading about their exploits today.
Numbers 23:19 says, “God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?” The spoken and written Word of God has the same power and efficacy. God will always fulfill His Word and Promises.
Thank God For His Word and Promises
We need to constantly thank God for all His promises because whatever He has said will surely come to pass. There is no problem the Word of God can not solve and there is no mountain the Word of God can not move. There is no situation or circumstances that defy solution when it comes in contact with the Word of God. If the Word of God enters a city, the city will be full of joy. In Samaria according to Acts 8:4-8, there was great joy in that city simply because the Word of God was preached in the city.
When you have prayed to God and God has spoken concerning the situation, what you do during the waiting period is to praise God in advance for His promises. The Word of God will always come to pass. Some put their trust in their wealth while some trust in their position. Some put their trust in affluence while some put their trust in their intelligence and high connections. All of these may fail, but the Word of God can never fail. God has given you His Word and promises and that is enough for your lifting. So, let us thank God for all His Word and promises.
