Pray Against Intruder In Your Marriage
Pray Against Intruder In Your Marriage
Today, we will be praying against intruders in marriage. In the marriage of Adam and Eve, Satan was an intruder. His intent or mission is to kill, to steal and to destroy. He came to destroy the first marriage institution. When you take God out of your marriage, the glory of God will depart from you and you will be naked. That was exactly what Satan did in Adam and Eve’s marriage. He came as an intruder to soil the relationship between them and God. Meanwhile, a marriage without Christ will be full of crises. The moment Adam and Eve sinned against God, they lost the beautiful garden. They lost their relationship with God and they lost the glory of God.
You must do all you can to retain the glory of God in your marriage. Because it is the glory of God only that is sufficient to cover your nakedness. By the time Adam and Eve will give birth to a son, their first son did not walk in line with the plans and purpose of God. Apart from Satan who is the chief murderer, Cain was the first murderer recorded in the bible . Cain took after the nature of the devil. He killed his brother Abel because God accepted his sacrifice. That is the extent that an intruder can go in marriages. I pray that the Lord will deliver your marriage from intruders in Jesus’ name.
Don’t Be The Source Of An Intruder In Your Marriage
Abraham and Sarah were enjoying their marriage until Hagar came into the picture. So, Hagar was another intruder who illegally came into the marriage through Sarah. This means that an intruder can come into your marriage due to carelessness on your part. Sarah gave careless advice and Abraham also was insensitive. An intruder can come into your marriage when you are faced with some challenges and you refuse to trust in God. Anytime you start doubting the promises of God for your life, know fully well that an intruder can take advantage of the situation. You have to constantly ensure that your thoughts align with the Word of God.
Who is giving you advice today? You have to be careful so that you don’t allow an intruder into your marriage. Are you currently treading on a dangerous part like Sarah and Abraham? You need to take the necessary precautions. Abraham agreed with his wife to lie to Abimelech and the king took Sarah as his wife not knowing that she was married to Abraham. Abimelech would have defiled Sarah if not for God’s intervention. As we pray today, pray that God will deliver your marriage from intruders in Jesus’ name.
