Pray For The Power To Get Wealth
Today, we will pray for the power to get wealth. God promised to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory. How rich is our God? He is the Creator of heavens and the earth. The earth and its fullness belongs to God. Psalm 112:3 says, “Wealth and riches are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever.” Therefore, God can give you the power to get wealth. The truth is that no one can give what he doesn’t have. When anyone promises you anything, you have to look if she or he has the capacity to fulfill that promise. God said that silver and gold belongs to Him, so He has the capacity to give you the power to get wealth.
It is good to be hardworking. As a matter of fact, you can not be lazy and expect God’s blessing. However, hard work alone does not guarantee you riches. We have so many hardworking people all over the world who are still very poor. True riches and honor comes from God. Joseph worked hard while he was in Potiphar’s house as a slave. His master was getting blessed because of him but there was no record that he was wealthy. He was also very hardworking while he was in prison. The prison warden put him in charge of the prison but there was no record that he was rich or wealthy while in the prison. However, when God was going to compensate him, it was God who arranged everything. God took him from the prison into the palace and made him wealthy.
God Can Still Give You The Power To Get Wealth
How did Obed-Edom become wealthy? While David was bringing the ark of the Lord to Jerusalem, Uzzah touched the ark and died as a result. David was scared and took the ark to Obed-Edom’s house. Within three months, Obed-Edom became very wealthy. When David heard of this, he went back and took the ark and brought it to Jerusalem. The ark symbolizes the presence of God. When there is the presence of God in your home or in your business, you can become very wealthy. Laban realized that his business was blessed because of Jacob. Potiphar also knew that his business was blessed because of Joseph. This shows that God had already given Jacob and Joseph the power to get wealth.
The nation of Egypt allowed Joseph to manage the economy of the nation and Egypt became very wealthy because of Joseph. All the businesses that Joseph managed were very successful because he was a carrier of the power to get wealth. Hard work alone does not guarantee wealth. The Israelites were very hardworking in Egypt, yet they were not compensated. When God released the power to get wealth unto them, they asked for whatever they needed in a day from the Egyptians and they were compensated for all their years of labor.
One day of favour with God is better than one hundred years of labor. I pray that you will experience the favour of God in Jesus’ name and God will give you the power to get wealth.
Prayer Points
- Father, I pray that you will release the power to get wealth unto me in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that you will establish your covenant of wealth with me in Jesus’ name
Deuteronomy 8:18
And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.
2. Father, I pray that you will meet all my needs according to the riches of your glory. Lord, I pray that you will give me the power to get wealth in Jesus’ name.
Philippians 4:19
And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
3. Father, I pray that you will release your wealth and riches unto me in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that you will open the floodgate of your heavenly treasure unto my household in Jesus’ name.
Psalm 112:3
Wealth and riches are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever.
4. Father, I pray that you will give me the treasures of darkness and hidden wealth of secret places in Jesus’ name.
Isaiah 45:3
“I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden wealth of secret places, so that you may know that it is I, the Lord, the God of Israel, who calls you by your name.
5. Father, I pray that you will bless me with riches and honour. Lord, I pray that you will give me the power to get wealth in Jesus’ name.
Proverbs 3:16
Long life is in her right hand; In her left hand are riches and honour.
6. Father, I pray that you will give me a good name and make my name great in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that I will experience your favour that is better than gold and silver in Jesus’ name.
Proverbs 22:1
A good name is to be more desired than great wealth, favour is better than silver and gold.
7. Father, I pray that you will give me riches and wealth and empower me to eat from them. Lord, I pray that I will receive my reward from you and rejoice in my labor in Jesus’ name. Father, I pray that you will give me the power to get wealth in Jesus’ name.
Ecclesiastes 5:19
Furthermore, as for every man to whom God has given riches and wealth, He has also empowered him to eat from them and to receive his reward and rejoice in his labor; this is the gift of God.
Pray That God Will Bless You With Riches And Honour
8. Father, I pray that you will give me riches and honour and enduring wealth and righteousness in Jesus’ name.
Proverbs 8:18
“Riches and honour are with me, enduring wealth and righteousness.
9. Father, I pray that as you bless me with wealth and riches, I will not be conceited or fix my hope on the uncertainty of riches but on God. Lord, I pray for the grace to fix my hope on God who richly supplies me with all things to enjoy in Jesus’ name.
1 Timothy 6:17
Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy.
10. Father, I pray that you will give me your blessing that will make me rich and will add no sorrow to it in Jesus’ name.
Proverbs 10:22
It is the blessing of the Lord that makes rich, and He adds no sorrow to it.
11. Father, I pray that I will be called the priests of the Lord. I pray that I will be spoken of as ministers of God in Jesus’ name. I pray that I will eat the wealth of nations and I will boast in their riches in Jesus’ name.
Isaiah 61:6
But you will be called the priests of the Lord; You will be spoken of as ministers of our God. You will eat the wealth of nations, and in their riches you will boast.
12. Father, I pray that you will give me the grace to leave inheritance to my children’s children in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that you will release the wealth of the sinners unto me in Jesus’ name.
Proverbs 13:22
A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children, and the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous.
13. Father, I pray that you will give me both riches and honour in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that in your power and might you will make me great and strengthen me in Jesus’ name.
1 Chronicles 29:12
Both riches and honour come from You, and You rule over all, and in Your hand is power and might; and it lies in Your hand to make great and to strengthen everyone.
14. Father, I pray that you will give me wisdom and knowledge in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that you will give me riches and wealth and honour in Jesus’ name.
2 Chronicles 1:12
“Wisdom and knowledge have been granted to you. And I will give you riches and wealth and honour, such as none of the kings who were before you has possessed nor those who will come after you.”
15. Father, I thank you because even though you are rich, you became poor for my sake so that I might become rich through your poverty. Lord, I thank you for giving me the power to get wealth.
2 Corinthians 8:9
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich.
