Pray For Open Doors of Fruitfulness
Today, we are going to pray for open doors of fruitfulness. Fruitfulness means producing good results, beneficial, profitable; abounding in fruits; bearing fruit abundantly, or producing abundant growth. Fruitfulness is synonymous to fecundity, fertility, productiveness, blessedness, prolificacy or richness.
Fruitfulness is the major blessing that God pronounced upon man and upon everything that He created. God deliberately created just two people, Adam and Eve in the beginning and He commanded them to be fruitful and multiply. He suspended all other things He would have loved to create because He has created human beings in His image who has the capacity to continue with the work of creation (Genesis 1:11-12).
God repeated this commandment after he destroyed the whole world with flood. He said that we should be fruitful and multiply on the earth. This fruitfulness cuts across every area of life and it is not limited to child bearing only. If there is any area you are not currently fruitful you need to know that it is contrary to the will of God and you need to pray about it. Jesus Christ could tolerate many things while on earth but He could not tolerate a fruitless tree. He cursed the fig tree that refused to bear fruit.
God has promised us that this year is our year of open doors. So, we will be praying to God for open doors of fruitfulness in every facet of our lives in Jesus’ name.
Prayer Points
- Father, I thank you for giving me the mandate to be fruitful and multiply. Thank you Lord for the grace to bear fruits in every area of my life. I appreciate you father, for opening the door of fruitfulness to me.
Genesis 1:11-12
Then God said, “Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees on the earth bearing fruit after their kind with seed in them”; and it was so. The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed after their kind, and trees bearing fruit with seed in them, after their kind; and God saw that it was good.
2. Father, I pray that this year and beyond, I will experience open doors of fruitfulness in a new and greater dimension in Jesus’ name.
Genesis 8:17
Bring out with you every living thing of all flesh that is with you, birds and animals and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, that they may breed abundantly on the earth, and be fruitful and multiply on the earth.”
3. Father, I pray for the grace to walk in your statutes and to keep your commandments. Lord, I pray that as I keep your statutes, you will give me rains in their season and my land will yield its produce. I pray that the trees of my field will bear their fruit in Jesus’ name. I pray for open doors of fruitfulness.
Leviticus 26:3-4
If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments so as to carry them out, then I shall give you rains in their season, so that the land will yield its produce and the trees of the field will bear their fruit.
4. Father, I pray that the earth will yield its increase for me and I will be secure in my land in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that you will deliver me from every power that may want to enslave me in Jesus’ name.
Ezekiel 34:27
Also the tree of the field will yield its fruit and the earth will yield its increase, and they will be secure on their land. Then they will know that I am the Lord, when I have broken the bars of their yoke and have delivered them from the hand of those who enslaved them
5. Father, I pray that you will restore everything that I have lost unto me and rebuild my ruined cities in Jesus’ name. I pray that I will plant vineyards and drink their wine and I will make gardens and eat their fruit in Jesus’ name
Amos 9:14
“Also I will restore the captivity of My people Israel, and they will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them; They will also plant vineyards and drink their wine, and make gardens and eat their fruit.
6. Father, I pray that there will be peace for my seed, my vine will yield their fruits and the land will yield its produce for me in Jesus’ name. I pray that the heavens will give me my dew and I will inherit this land in Jesus’ name
Zechariah 8:12
‘For there will be peace for the seed: the vine will yield its fruit, the land will yield its produce and the heavens will give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of these people to inherit all these things.
7. Father, I pray that you will cause me to be fruitful. I pray that my descendants will multiply greatly in Jesus’ name.
Genesis 13:16
I will make your descendants as the dust of the earth, so that if anyone can number the dust of the earth, then your descendants can also be numbered.
8. Father, I pray that as far as my eyes can see, I will possess in Jesus’ name. God, establish my descendants and my generations yet unborn and open doors of fruitfulness to them in Jesus’ name
Genesis 15:5
And He took him outside and said, “Now look toward the heavens, and count the stars, if you are able to count them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.”
9. Pray that God will make you exceedingly fruitful and He will make nations out of you. Pray that kings will come forth from you. This will be the result of the door of fruitfulness that God will open unto you in Jesus’ name.
Genesis 17:6
I will make you exceedingly fruitful, and I will make nations of you, and kings will come forth from you.
10. Father, I pray that you will greatly bless me and multiply my seeds as the stars of heaven. Lord, bless my seed like sand on the seashore. Let them possess the gate of their enemies in Jesus’ name
Genesis 22:17
“Indeed I will greatly bless you, and I will greatly multiply your seed as the stars of the heavens and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your seed shall possess the gate of their enemies.”
11. Father, I pray that you will turn toward me and you will make me fruitful. Multiply me according to your Word. I pray that you will confirm your covenant with me in Jesus’ name
Leviticus 26:9
So I will turn toward you and make you fruitful and multiply you, and I will confirm My covenant with you.
12. Father, I pray that you will love and bless me and multiply me in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that you will bless the fruit of my womb and the fruit of my ground. Bless my grain, my new wine and my oil. Increase my herd and the young of my flock in Jesus’ name. Lord, open mighty door of fruitfulness to me in ministry and in business. Bless my finances and all areas of my life in Jesus’ name
Deuteronomy 7:13
He will love you and bless you and multiply you; He will also bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your ground, your grain and your new wine and your oil, the increase of your herd and the young of your flock, in the land which He swore to your forefathers to give you.
