Praying For Open Doors Of Revelation
Today, we are going to be praying for open doors of revelation. What is revelation? It is the act of communicating divine truth. Revelation is an act of revealing, to view or make known. Revelation is an enlightening or astonishing disclosure.
Secret things belong to God. However, God reveals secret things to His children (Deuteronomy 29:29). God saved Noah and his household from the flood by revealing the pending danger to Noah. He also showed him the way out of that danger by instructing him to build the ark.
When God opens doors of revelation to you, you will see into the future and prepare ahead. Nothing will catch you unaware. The land of Egypt lived in abundance. They became richer while there was famine all over the world because of the revelation of the famine. God gave pharaoh the dream and gave Joseph the interpretation of the dream. Joseph also prescribed a solution to the recession at that time so Egypt was smiling while the world was suffering.
You need open doors of revelation
Apostle Paul was able to do great and mighty exploits for God. This is due to the volume of revelation he had from God. As a Christian, you can not grow beyond the revelation of the Word of God that you have. God’s people perish due to the lack of knowledge Hosea 6:4) It is the truth that you know that can set you free. There is no mountain anywhere. Every man’s ignorance is his mountain. The area where many Christians suffer today is the area where they have not known the truth of the Word of God.
Many all over the world are still in darkness. The devil has blinded the hearts of those who are yet to receive the gospel. The Devil knows that if you see the light, you will be freed from the bondage of sins. Jesus spoke in parables many times but He will reveal the meaning of the parables to those who were close to Him. Today, we are going to pray for open doors of revelation so that we can do greater exploits for God.
Prayer Points
- Father, I thank you for your blessings, because my eyes can see and my ears can hear. Thank you Lord for opening doors of revelation unto me.
Matthew 13:16
But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear;
2. Father, I pray that you will reveal the secret things to me. I pray for the grace to live according to your Word.
Deuteronomy 29:29
“The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.
3. Father, I pray that you will do nothing unless you reveal your secret to me. I pray that I will never be in darkness. Open doors of revelation to me in Jesus’ name.
Amos 3:7
Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.
4. Father, I pray that by revelation you will make known to me the mystery of the dispensation of the grace of God. Reveal the knowledge of the mystery of Christ which is in other ages to me. Reveal the mysteries to me by the power of the Holy Spirit
Ephesians 3:1-5
“For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles— if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you, how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (as I have briefly written already, by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ), which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets:”
5. Father, I pray that you will constantly and divinely warn me of things not yet seen. I pray that by the door of revelation that you will open unto me, you will save me and my household from impending danger.
Hebrews 11:7
“By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.”
6. Father, I pray for the Spirit of revelation into your Word. I pray for unusual blessings as I heed wisdom’s instructions
Proverbs 29:18 (NIV)
“Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint; but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom’s instruction.”
7. Father, I pray for revelation of God and His Word. Reveal the Word of God to me and give me the grace to keep the law in Jesus’ name.
Proverbs 29:18 (AMP)
Where there is no vision [no revelation of God and His word], the people are unrestrained; But happy and blessed is he who keeps the law [of God].
8. Father, reveal your righteousness to me. Let me increase from faith to faith. Lord, reveal the wrath of God from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men so that I can avoid sinning against you.
Romans 1:16-18
“16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. 17 For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”
18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness”
9. Father, reveal unto me your invisible attributes through the things that you have made. I receive the grace to know you as God and glorify you as God. Lord, I pray that I will not be futile in my thoughts. Give me the illumination of your Word in my heart.
Romans 1:16-21
“Because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
10. Father, reveal the message in your Word to me. Give me the grace to increase in faith
Romans 10:17
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
11. Father, I pray that you will reveal to me what you have prepared for those who love. Lord, let me understand what eye has not seen, what ear has not heard and what has not entered into the heart of man. I pray that you will reveal the deep things of God by your spirit to me in Jesus’ name.
1 Corinthians 2:9-12
But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.
12. Father, I pray that you will reveal the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven to me in Jesus’ name, I pray that my eyes will see and ears will hear deep and spiritual things about God’s kingdom in Jesus’ name
Matthew 13:10-14
And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?” He answered and said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says:
” Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, and seeing you will see and not perceive
13. Father, I pray that you will choose to reveal secret things to me. Not because I am wiser or mightier or more noble, but do this by your grace of Lord. I pray that the whole world we know that I am the one who God has chosen for His mercy.
1 Corinthians 1:26-31
For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence. But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption— that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the LORD.”
14. Father, I pray that you will teach me the gospel by the revelation of Jesus Christ so that I will preach the right gospel. I pray for the grace to rightly divide the Word of truth in Jesus’ name
Galatians 1:8-12
But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ. But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ
15. Father, I pray that you will teach me humility and give me the grace to be humble. I pray that as you give me my daily bread, you will constantly reveal to me that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds from God’s mouth
Deuteronomy 8:3
So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD.
16. Father, I pray that you will give me wisdom and knowledge. I pray that you will reveal deep and secret things to me and show me what is in darkness. I pray that your light will shine on every dark areas of my life in Jesus’ name
Daniel 2:21-22
You control human events— you give rulers their power and take it away, and you are the source of wisdom and knowledge. 22 “You explain deep mysteries, because even the dark is light to you.
17. Father, I pray that you will constantly reveal your Word to me. I pray that every Word of God I read or listen to will become spirit and life in Jesus’ name
John 6:63
It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.
18. Father, I pray that the Holy Spirit will constantly tech me all things and bring all things to my remembrance in Jesus’ name.
John 14:26
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
19. Father, give me a revelation of who I am in Christ. I pray that I will be like Jesus and see Him as He is.
1 John 3:2
Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
20. Father, I pray that you will reveal your secret to me and you will not hide anything from me Lord. Thank you Lord for opening the doors of revelation.
Daniel 2:28
But there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will be in the latter days. Your dream, and the visions of your head upon your bed, were these:
