Pray for helpers of destiny
Night of Divine Encounter (NODE) 3rd Edition, Day 3 - Pray for helpers of destiny- August 30th, 2021. Theme: The Book of Remembrance
God knows that we need helpers of destiny
God understands the need for the helpers of destiny. When he created man, He said it was not good for a man to be alone. He made a woman who was a help suitable for the man. When Jesus Christ was ascending to heaven also, he promised not to leave the believers helpless. He promised to send the Holy Spirit as our Helper. In the book of Psalms 46:1, the psalmist described God as a very present help in the times of need.
For you to fulfill God’s plans and purpose for your life, you need helpers of destiny. Truly, God is the lifter of men. However, the way God lifts men most of the time is also through men. On your journey to fulfilling destiny, you really need destiny helpers.
Joseph was lifted through helpers of destiny
Joseph was lifted through Pharaoh. God knew that with one command from king Pharaoh, Joseph would cease to be a prisoner. So, God made king Pharaoh to dream a dream that only Joseph will understand the interpretation. Through king Pharaoh, Joseph was lifted into the palace. He became the Prime Minister in Egypt.
The chief butler who suggested Joseph to king Pharaoh was another destiny helper. You might not be present in the palace, but you need a voice in the palace who can speak on your behalf. When decisions are being made about your destiny, you need a voice among the decision makers who can speak for you. God can raise a voice for you where you have no voice. These are helpers of destiny.
God promoted Esther into the palace to save the Jews
Esther was the voice that God raised for the Jews in the palace of Susan when Haman was determined to destroy the Jews. Mordecai was telling Esther that the reason why she was raised in the palace could be to be a voice for the Jews and to prevent Haman from annihilating the Jews. God is a very present help in the times of need. He can also raise helpers for us in our times of need.
Eli mentored Samuel as a prophet
Eli was a helper of destiny to Samuel. He was the one who mentored Samuel and taught him how to hear from God when God was speaking to him. Joseph was a helper of destiny to his brothers and their family. He was used by God to preserve their lives in the time of famine.
God is actually the one behind the wheels of the hearts of men. He can control the hearts of men however and wherever He wishes. Do you need helpers of destiny? Call unto God today to raise for you helpers of destiny.
Prayer Points
- Thank God for being our refuge and strength. Worship Him for being a very present help in the times of need
Psalm 46:1
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble
2. Pray to God to raise helpers of destiny for you where you have no voice. Cry to God that your helpers of destiny will not rest until they help you achieve your dream.
Esther 4:14
For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”
3. Father, I pray that the sons of strangers will rebuild my walls and their kings will serve me. In Jesus’ name I pray
Isaiah 60:10-11
10 And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee. 11 Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.
4. Pray for all who are believing God for a future partner that God will give them a suitable helpmate. Also pray that God will send you suitable helpers in every area where you need help. In Jesus’ name we pray
Genesis 2:18
The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”
5. Pray that God will honour His Words in your life. He promised not to leave you as an orphan. Pray that He will send helpers to you in all the areas where you need help.
John 14:18
I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you
6. Pray that the Holy Spirit will help you in your Christian journey. Pray that the Holy Spirit will constantly lead you, direct you and energize you for the journey ahead. In Jesus’ name we pray.
John 14:16
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever
7. Lord, I know that Jonathan was instrumental to the ascension of David to the kingship throne in Israel. I pray that you will send all the men that will be instrumental to my promotion to me. In Jesus’ name I pray
1 Samuel 18:1
After David had finished talking with Saul, Jonathan became one in spirit with David, and he loved him as himself
8. God, I prayed that just as you burdened King Ahasuerus to promote Mordechai, you will burden all my helpers of destiny to promote me in Jesus’ name
Esther 10:1-3
King Ahasuerus laid tribute on the land and on the islands of the sea. 2 All the acts of his power and might, and the full account of the high honor of Mordecai, to which the king advanced him, are they not written in the annals of the kings of Media and Persia? 3 For Mordecai the Jew was next in rank to King Ahasuerus, and he was powerful among the Jews and popular with his many kindred, for he sought the good of his people and interceded for the welfare of all his descendants.
9. Father, I pray that just like Boaz was a helper of destiny to Ruth, you will send me my helpers of destiny also. In Jesus’ name I pray
Ruth 4:9-10
Then Boaz announced to the elders and all the people, “Today you are witnesses that I have bought from Naomi all the property of Elimelek, Kilion and Mahlon. 10 I have also acquired Ruth the Moabite, Mahlon’s widow, as my wife, in order to maintain the name of the dead with his property, so that his name will not disappear from among his family or from his hometown. Today you are witnesses!”
10. Lord, just Like Elijah was Elisha’s destiny helpers in ministry, send me my agents of change in ministry, Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray
1 Kings 19:21
So Elisha left him and went back. He took his yoke of oxen and slaughtered them. He burned the plowing equipment to cook the meat and gave it to the people, and they ate. Then he set out to follow Elijah and became his servant.
11. Father, just like you sent David as an agent of transformation to Mephibosheth, send me my agent of transformation in Jesus’ name.
2 Samuel 9:1
David asked, “Is there anyone still left of the house of Saul to whom I can show kindness for Jonathan’s sake?”
12. Lord, just like you sent Pharaoh to Joseph as his agent of elevation, send me destiny helpers and elevate me in Jesus’ name
Genesis 41:41-43
So Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I hereby put you in charge of the whole land of Egypt.” 42 Then Pharaoh took his signet ring from his finger and put it on Joseph’s finger. He dressed him in robes of fine linen and put a gold chain around his neck. 43 He had him ride in a chariot as his second-in-command, and people shouted before him, “Make way!” Thus he put him in charge of the whole land of Egypt.
13. Lord, deliver me from the manipulators of my destiny helpers in Jesus’ name.
2 Samuel 16:1-4
When David had gone a short distance beyond the summit, there was Ziba, the steward of Mephibosheth, waiting to meet him. He had a string of donkeys saddled and loaded with two hundred loaves of bread, a hundred cakes of raisins, a hundred cakes of figs and a skin of wine.
2 The king asked Ziba, “Why have you brought these?”
Ziba answered, “The donkeys are for the king’s household to ride on, the bread and fruit are for the men to eat, and the wine is to refresh those who become exhausted in the wilderness.”
3 The king then asked, “Where is your master’s grandson?”
Ziba said to him, “He is staying in Jerusalem, because he thinks, ‘Today the Israelites will restore to me my grandfather’s kingdom.’”
4 Then the king said to Ziba, “All that belonged to Mephibosheth is now yours.”
“I humbly bow,” Ziba said. “May I find favor in your eyes, my lord the king.”
