Pray That The Will Of God Will Be Done On Earth As It Is In Heaven
Today, we will pray that the will of God will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Prior to the fall of man, Adam and Eve embraced the will of God. When Satan came into the scene, he overturned God’s plans for mankind. Adam and Eve were initially living in the beautiful garden and they refused to eat the forbidden fruit. However, Satan came cunningly to deceive Adam and Eve and he made them do what was contrary to God’s will. Since then, many have been choosing their personal will above the will of God.
God gave mankind the freedom of choice. We all have the will power. However, despite the fact that we have our own will, God expects us to willingly submit to His will. At times, God’s will might require that we make sacrifices. It was not easy for Jesus to go to the cross. It was not convenient for Jesus to pay that supreme price and to go through that capital punishment. However, while Jesus was praying in the garden of Gethsemane, He decided to submit to God’s will and not to His own will. Jesus was pierced. They spat on Him and he was nailed to the cross. They gave Him a crown of thorns. It was indeed a painful death, yet it was God’s will. God was not looking at the immediate pain but He knew that the end result will bring redemption to the world.
Submit to God’s Will Even When It Is Not Convenient
In the same vein, God’s will sometimes might not look palatable. However, when we submit to His will, we will see the total picture which is always a brighter future. Abraham submitted totally to God’s will. He did not decline when God told him to offer his only son Isaac. Ultimately, when Abraham obeyed, God blessed him and He did not allow him to slaughter his son. We have to also pray that the will of God will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We pray that all nations on earth will submit to the will of God.

2. Father, I pray that all the nations of the earth will be saved in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that all nations will come to the knowledge of the truth in Jesus’ name. I pray that the will of God will prevail in all the nations of the earth in Jesus’ name
1 Timothy 2:3-4
This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.
3. Father, I pray that the nations of the earth will do your will in all circumstances. I pray that all the nations of the earth will praise and worship the only true and living God in Jesus’ name
1 Thessalonians 5:18
Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
4. Father, I pray that all people will come to the knowledge of God all over the world in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that they shall be sanctified and avoid sexual immorality in Jesus’ name. I pray that doing the will of God will be our desire all over the world in Jesus’ name
1 Thessalonians 4:3
It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality
5. Father, I pray that all nations will submit to your will in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that in all nations where people have gone their own ways and lean on their understanding, you will intervene and change their hearts in Jesus’ name. Father, I pray that you will make the crooked paths in our nation’s straight in Jesus’ name
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
6. Father, I pray that there will be a strong desire to do your will in all nations of the world in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that you will silence the ignorant talk of foolish people who have no regards for God in Jesus’ name
1 Peter 2:15
For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people.
7. Father, I pray that you will establish your will in all nations in Jesus’ name. Lord, I cancel every agenda that is contrary to your will all over the world in Jesus’ name. Father, we pray that only your counsel over the nations of the earth shall come to pass in Jesus’ name
Psalm 22:28
For the kingdom is the Lord’s and He rules over the nations.
8. Father, I pray that all the nations of the world will choose your will and obey you. Lord, we pray that you will touch the hearts of all those who are currently worshiping idols. I pray that the will of God will prevail in all our nations in Jesus’ name.
Joshua 24:14-15
“Now therefore fear the Lord and serve him in sincerity and in faithfulness. Put away the gods that your fathers served beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord. 15 And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
9. Father, I pray that all the nations of the world will choose your will above their will in Jesus’ name. I pray that all nations of the world will follow in the footsteps of Jesus and obey God in Jesus’ name
Luke 22:42
“Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.”
