Praying For Divine Healing Part 2
Day 33: 40 DAYS PRAYER, FASTING AND WORSHIP FEB 3rd to MARCH 14th, 2021. 2021, A YEAR OF NEW BEGINNING - ISAIAH 43:17-19
Short Exhortation About Divine Healing
Divine healing is a supernatural act which resolves physical, emotional and spiritual problems. When God heals, He heals completely. The physicians can care for the sick but the cure for sickness is from God. One of the names of God is Jehovah-Rapha which means God the Healer. Jeremiah 33:6 says, “Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security.” Healing, abundant peace and security come from God. Psalm 107:20 says, “He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave.”
The Word of God has the capacity to heal. Proverbs 4:20-22 says, “My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to one’s whole body.” When you study the Word of God and keep His Words within your heart, the scriptures say they are life to you and health to your whole body. The Word of God is like medicine that you can apply to any situation or circumstance that affects you. Just like those who are sick will consult medical doctors and some medications can be prescribed, the Word of God is the best prescription for anyone who is sick. If you have faith in the Word of God, you can receive your divine healing.
God is not only capable of healing you physically, He can also heal you emotionally. John 14:27 says, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” Having a troubled mind is a sign that you are sick emotionally. 2 Timothy 1:7 says, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” If you are constantly timid or fearful, such spirit is not from God. Don’t accept what God has not given you. Instead, embrace the Spirit of power, love and a sound mind. The plan of God is to ensure that you are healed physically, emotionally and spiritually.
