Praying For Divine Provision

Day 25: 40 DAYS PRAYER, FASTING AND WORSHIP FEB 3rd to MARCH 14th, 2021.  2021, A YEAR OF NEW BEGINNING - ISAIAH 43:17-19

Short Exhortation About God’s Provision

When God gives a vision, He makes provision to support the vision. When God gave Moses the vision to construct the sanctuary, He also made all the provision for that assignment. God provided all the human resources and financial resources for that assignment. Exodus 36:5-7 says, “and said to Moses, “The people are bringing more than enough for doing the work the Lord commanded to be done.” Then Moses gave an order and they sent this word throughout the camp: “No man or woman is to make anything else as an offering for the sanctuary.” And so the people were restrained from bringing more, because what they already had was more than enough to do all the work.” God has the capacity to give you more than enough for that vision that He has laid in your heart.

We need God’s provision to abound in every good work and God has the capacity to bless us abundantly. 2 Corinthians 9:8 says, “And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 2 Peter 1:3 also says, “His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.” So, we can call unto God for provision for that assignment that He has committed into our hands and God will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

Prayer Points:

1. Lord, we thank you because you are able to bless us abundantly. We thank you Lord for your divine provision that has given us the ability to abound in all things.

2 Corinthians 9:8

“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”

2. Father, we pray that by your divine power, there will be provision for everything we need for a godly life in Jesus’ name. Lord, we pray that you will increase our knowledge of you so that we can constantly have access to your divine provision in Jesus’ name

2 Peter 1:3

“His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness”

3. Lord, we pray that just as you constantly provide for the ravens when their young cry out to God and wander about for lack of food, you will provide for us everything that we need in Jesus’ name. We have the confidence that you have the capacity to meet all our needs, so Lord, we pray that you will meet all our needs in Jesus’ name.

Job 38:41

“Who provides food for the raven when its young cry out to God and wander about for lack of food?”

Philippians 4:19

“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”

Luke 12:24

Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds!

4. God, we pray that as we seek your kingdom and its righteousness, everything that we need shall be added unto us in Jesus’ name according to your Word

Matthew 6:31-33

“So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’  For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

5. Father, as we serve you, we pray that you will bless our food and water in Jesus’ name. Lord we pray that you will take sickness away from us in Jesus’ name

Exodus 23:25

“Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you”

6. Lord, we pray that just like you made provision for both human resources and financial resources for the construction work of the Sanctuary, Lord let there be a divine provision. We pray that we will have more than enough for the work you have committed into our hands in Jesus’ name

Exodus 36:1-7

“So Bezalel, Oholiab and every skilled person to whom the Lord has given skill and ability to know how to carry out all the work of constructing the sanctuary are to do the work just as the Lord has commanded.”

2 Then Moses summoned Bezalel and Oholiab and every skilled person to whom the Lord had given ability and who was willing to come and do the work. 3 They received from Moses all the offerings the Israelites had brought to carry out the work of constructing the sanctuary. And the people continued to bring freewill offerings morning after morning. 4 So all the skilled workers who were doing all the work on the sanctuary left what they were doing 5 and said to Moses, “The people are bringing more than enough for doing the work the Lord commanded to be done.”

6 Then Moses gave an order and they sent this word throughout the camp: “No man or woman is to make anything else as an offering for the sanctuary.” And so the people were restrained from bringing more, 7 because what they already had was more than enough to do all the work.”

7. Lord, we pray that you will give us good gifts in Jesus’ name. You promised that you will give good gifts to anyone who asks you, Lord, let there be an abundant supply for everything that we need in Jesus’ name. We present our request to you today and we pray that there will be a divine provision in Jesus’ name

Mark 7:11

“If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!”

Philippians 4:6

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”

8. Father, I pray according to your Word in Psalm 23:1, and I say that I shall not want in Jesus’ name. You promised that you will bless us with abundant provisions and our poor will be satisfied with food, Lord, fulfil your Words in my life in Jesus’ name

Psalm 23:1

“The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing.”

Psalm 132:15

“I will bless her with abundant provisions; her poor I will satisfy with food”

9. Lord, we pray that there will be a great provision for spreading the gospel all over the world. You provided for all the work of the temple through king David and the Israelites, Lord let there be a great provision for the work of God in BKCC in Jesus’ name

1 Chronicles 29:1-9

“Then King David spoke to the whole community. He said, “God has chosen my son Solomon. But Solomon is young. He’s never done anything like this before. The task is huge. This grand and wonderful temple won’t be built for human beings. It will be built for the Lord God.”

2 With all my riches I’ve done everything I could for the temple of my God. I’ve provided gold for the gold work and silver for the silver work. I’ve provided bronze for the bronze work and iron for the iron work. I’ve given wood for the things that will be made out of wood. I’ve given onyx and turquoise for the settings. I’ve given stones of different colors and all kinds of fine stone and marble. I’ve provided everything in huge amounts.

3 With all my heart I want the temple of my God to be built. So I’m giving my personal treasures of gold and silver for it. I’m adding them to everything else I’ve provided for the holy temple. 4 I’m giving 110 tons of gold and 260 tons of pure silver. Cover the walls of the buildings with it. 5 Use it for the gold work and the silver work. Use it for everything the skilled workers will do. How many of you are willing to set yourselves apart to the Lord today?”

6 Many people were willing to give. They included the leaders of families and the officers of the tribes of Israel. They included the commanders of thousands of men and commanders of hundreds. They also included the officials who were in charge of the king’s work. 7 All of them gave to the work on God’s temple. They gave more than 190 tons of gold and 380 tons of silver. They also gave 675 tons of bronze and 3,800 tons of iron.

8 Anyone who had valuable jewels added them to the treasure for the Lord’s temple. Jehiel was in charge of the temple treasure. He was from the family line of Gershon. 9 The people were happy when they saw what their leaders had been willing to give. The leaders had given freely. With their whole heart they had given everything to the Lord. King David was filled with joy.”

10. Father, you said in your Word that those who seek the Lord will lack no good thing, I pray that I will not lack any good thing in Jesus’ name.

Psalm 34:10

“The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.”

11. Lord, I pray that I shall not be forsaken and my children will not beg for bread in Jesus’ name

Psalm 37:25

“I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.”

12. God, I know that the power to get wealth is in your hands, establish your covenant with me and release the power to get wealth unto me in Jesus’ name

Deuteronomy 8:18

“And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.”

13. Lord, I pray according to your Word that you will give me all things in Jesus’ name. Let there be a great provision for everything that I need in Jesus’ name

Roman 8:32

“He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?”
