Praying For Open Doors
Night of Divine Encounter (NODE) 5th Edition, Day 4 - Praying For Open Doors - Join us on Friday, November 5th, 2021 for the Night of Divine Encounter between 7pm to 10pm MST. Theme: The Siege Is Over
God Can Open All Doors
God has the capacity to open all doors locked against you. When Ben-Hadad besieged Samaria, all the gates were locked against them. A siege is a military operation in which enemy forces surround a town or building, cutting off essential supplies, with the aim of compelling the surrender of those inside. A siege is also defined as a prolonged period of misfortune. What this means is that the Samarians were locked inside and they dare not come out, else, they will be killed.
What is the implication of this? It means that they could only live on the resources they have inside the town. Once all these resources are finished they will starve to death unless they surrender to their enemies. It means that they would have been experiencing a great financial hardship. Infact, the famine in the town was so severe to the extent that some of them have started eating their children. We thank God that He intervened. God’s intervention unlocked the doors and all the gates that were shut against them.
When God Intervened In Samaria All Doors Opened
The moment God intervened and opened all doors, the inhabitants of the city of Samaria had great abundance. They regained their freedom and the famine was over. They did not have to lose their children again. There was a full restoration. They reclaimed everything that they have lost in a day because they inherited all the blessings of their enemies because their enemies fled and left all their belongings behind. As God is going to open all doors to you today, you will regain your freedom and God will turn your finances around. Prosperity will become your portion and your children’s lives will be secured in Jesus’ name.
Prayer Points:
- Thank God for delivering you from every form of siege and for open doors that no man can shut. Bless God because He will keep His Word and He will not deny His name
Revelation 3:8
I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
2. Pray that a great door will be opened unto you. Pray that God will take care of all the adversaries and the siege will be completely over.
1 Corinthians 16:9
“Because a great door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many who oppose me.”
3. Pray that the door of gospel will be opened to you of the Lord in your city, in your nation and all over the world in Jesus’ name
2 Corinthians 2:12
12 Furthermore, when I came to Troas to preach Christ’s gospel, and a door was opened unto me of the Lord
4. Pray that God will open unto you a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ in Jesus’ name
Colossians 4:3
“Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds”
5. Pray that the Lord will give you the key of the house of David that can open all doors that none can shut and shut all unpleasant doors in Jesus’ name
Isaiah 22:22
22 And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.
6. Pray that wherever there is no gate or door Jesus will show up for you as the door
John 10:9
I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.
7. Pray that God will deal with every spirit of fear that normally paralyze and prevent someone from accessing the doors that God has already opened.
1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
2 King 7:3-5
Now there were four men who were lepers at the entrance to the gate. And they said to one another, “Why are we sitting here until we die? 4 If we say, ‘Let us enter the city,’ the famine is in the city, and we shall die there. And if we sit here, we die also. So now come, let us go over to the camp of the Syrians. If they spare our lives we shall live, and if they kill us we shall but die.” 5 So they arose at twilight to go to the camp of the Syrians. But when they came to the edge of the camp of the Syrians, behold, there was no one there.
8. Pray that God will open the door of faith unto the unbelievers in your city, in your nation and all over the world in Jesus’ name. Pray that the case of the unbelievers in your city will not be like that king official in Samaria who died as a result of lack of faith.
Acts 14:27
On arriving there, they gathered the church together and reported all that God had done through them and how he had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles.
9. Pray that the door of heaven will open unto you and you clearly hear the voice of God. Pray that as a result of the open door you will go higher in Jesus’ name
Revelation 4:1
After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.”
