Praying For The Keys of The Kingdom

Today, we will be praying for the keys of the kingdom. What is the key? A key is a metal instrument that can open and close a lock or for operating a mechanical device. An example of a key is what people use to open their car doors and start the engine.  Keys symbolize freedom because they open things up and can lock precious things away.

God promised us the keys of the kingdom. There are several keys in the kingdom and each key is for a particular door. Until you discover these keys, your doors will remain closed perpetually.  David was in obscurity for so long until the anointing opened the door of the palace for him. Shortly after Samuel anointed David, he became a national hero. He was looking after his father’s business prior to his encounter with Samuel. After the anointing, God ordained him to look after a whole nation. If there is any area where the door is shut against you, you only need to discover the key that opens that door.

You Need to Discover The Keys

Every door has a specific key that opens it. Peter was behind the bars in the prison, but the prayer of the saints opened the door. Peradventure your case is like that of Paul and Silas. The jailer put them in chains but the key of praise opened the door. Joshua and the Israelites met with the barrier of walls of Jericho, but a shout of joy  demolished the walls.

Moreover, the Israelites did not know where to go in the face of the Red sea. The Egyptians’ army pursued them to the Red Sea but they listened to God’s instructions. They stretched out their rod in faith and the Sea parted. If you are still living in despair due to any door shut against you, it is simply because you have not discovered the right key that can open the door. You will recall that the door of Hannah’s womb was opened when she prayed to God. I pray that you will discover the right keys today that will open those doors shut against you in Jesus’ name
