Praying for the Manifestation of Prophetic Words
Praying for the Manifestation of Prophetic Words
Today, we will be praying for the manifestation of prophetic words. God declares that there will be no more delay in the fulfillment of His words (Ezekiel 12:28). God said that whatever He says will be fulfilled. All we need to do is to put our trust in God’s Words. When the angel of God appeared to Mary and told her that she will give birth to the Messiah, she believed in the Word of God. In Luke 1:38, Mary said to the angel, “May your word to me be fulfilled.” This is the type of response that God expects from us whenever He speaks to us. Mary’s submission activated the prophetic word concerning the birth of Jesus. Today, we will also be praying for the manifestation of prophetic words from God.
Unlocking Prophetic Fulfillment Through Prayer and Patience
In the Book of Daniel 9:2-3, Daniel prayed for the activation of prophetic words after understanding their timing. You can also pray for the manifestation of prophetic words in your life if you understand the timing. God told Abraham about his offspring, the Israelites, that they will be in captivity for four hundred years. He however promised that after four hundred years, He will deliver them and bring them back to the promised land. However, the Israelites spent four hundred and thirty years in Egypt probably because they did not cry to God on time about their bondage. The moment they cried unto God, God appeared to Moses where he was tending the flock of his father-in-law and He sent him to go and deliver the Israelites.
This shows that the fact that God has promised does not mean that we should not pray for the manifestation of His promises if we understand His timing. Also from Galatians 6:9, we realize that perseverance is key to seeing prophetic promises fulfilled. When Moses told Pharaoh to allow the Israelites to go and worship God, he refused to let them go. Moses through perseverance went to king Pharaoh about ten times before Pharaoh could release them.
Many of us would have grown weary after the first or the second time. The truth is that if you want to reason it out, you will be wondering why God would allow king Pharaoh to be dragging with Him when He could actually kill or destroy Pharaoh even at the first attempt. However, God does not work that way. He will give you several opportunities to repent or change your mind. God only destroys those who hardened their hearts like king Pharaoh did.
Praying for God’s Promises in Their Appointed Time
In 1 King 8:56, we will realize that God’s promises to Moses were fulfilled in their due time. God expects us to wait for His promises. According to Isaiah 40:31, you will note that waiting on the Lord leads to the realization of His promises. How do you wait upon God? You can wait upon God through prayer and fasting. You can pray for the manifestation of prophetic words. Waiting upon God also requires patience. Hebrews 6:15 (NIV) says, “And so after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised.” Patience can lead to the manifestation of prophetic promises.
Many give up on God before the manifestation of His prophetic words. God does not fail in His promises, but at times, you can fail God if you are in a hurry. Absalom could have become a king in Israel, but he was too much in a hurry to overthrow king David, his father. He met his waterloo as a result of that. When God makes a promise, He is faithful in fulfilling all His promises. Joshua 21:45 (NIV) says, “Not one of all the Lord’s good promises to Israel failed; everyone was fulfilled.” If God fulfilled all His promises to Israel, He will fulfill all His promises to you. In Isaiah 46:10-11, God declares that His purposes, including all His promises, will come to pass. God’s words are eternal, ensuring that every prophetic word will come to fruition (Matthew 24:35).
As we seek the face of God today, I pray that God will activate all His prophetic words in due time. I pray that the Holy Spirit will teach us the importance of patience, prayer, and trust in seeing them fulfilled. I pray that there will be a manifestation of prophetic words in your life in Jesus’ name.
Prayer Points:
- Father, I pray that none of your words that you have spoken to me will be delayed any longer. Lord, I pray that all you have said shall be fulfilled in my life in Jesus’ name. I pray for the manifestations of all your prophetic words in my life in Jesus’ name.
Ezekiel 12:28 (NIV)
“Therefore say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: None of my words will be delayed any longer; whatever I say will be fulfilled, declares the Sovereign Lord.'”
2. Father, I pray that you will fulfill your word to me in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that just as you fulfilled all the prophetic words you spoke to Mary, I will also see the manifestation of your prophetic words in my life in Jesus’ name.
Luke 1:38 (NIV)
“I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.” Then the angel left her.”
3. Father, I pray that I will see the manifestation of all your words which you have revealed to me through dreams, through visions, through sermons and through the reading of the scripture. Lord, I pray today just like Daniel prayed for the manifestation of your prophetic words. I decree that your word will come to pass in my life in Jesus’ name.
Daniel 9:2-3 (NIV)
“In the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, understood from the Scriptures, according to the word of the Lord given to Jeremiah the prophet, that the desolation of Jerusalem would last seventy years. So I turned to the Lord God and pleaded with him in prayer and petition, in fasting, and in sackcloth and ashes.”
4. Father, I pray that I will not be weary in doing good. Lord, I pray that I will not give up and I pray that I will reap a great harvest at the proper time in Jesus’ name.
Galatians 6:9 (NIV)
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
5. Father, I thank you for giving me rest just as you have promised in your word. Lord, I thank you because not one word that you have spoken to me has failed. Father, I thank you for all your good promises and I pray for the manifestation of your prophetic words in my life in Jesus’ name.
1 Kings 8:56 (NIV)
“Praise be to the Lord, who has given rest to his people Israel just as he promised. Not one word has failed of all the good promises he gave through his servant Moses.”.
Activating the Fulfillment of Prophetic Words Through Prayer
6. Father, I thank you for renewing my strength as I put my hope in you. Lord, I pray that I will begin to soar on wings like eagles. I pray that I will run and not grow weary and I pray that I will walk and not faint. Father, I pray for the manifestation of your prophetic words in my life in Jesus’ name
Isaiah 40:31 (NIV)
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
7. Father, I pray that as I have waited upon you patiently, I will receive what you have promised in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that just like you fulfill your promises to Abraham, you will fulfill your promises to me. Lord, I pray for the manifestation of your prophetic words in Jesus’ name.
Hebrews 6:15 (NIV)
“And so after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised.”
8. Father, I pray that not one of your good promises to me will fail. Lord, I pray for the manifestation of all the prophetic words that you have spoken to me in Jesus’ name.
Joshua 21:45 (NIV)
“Not one of all the Lord’s good promises to Israel failed; everyone was fulfilled.”
9. Father, I thank you because you make known the end from the beginning and from ancient times what is still to come. Lord, I pray that all your purpose for my life will stand and you will do all that you please in my life in Jesus’ name. Father, I pray for the manifestation of prophetic words in my life in Jesus’ name.
Isaiah 46:10-11 (NIV)
“I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.’”
