Pray That There Will Be A Sound Of Revival In Your Nation
Today, we will pray that there will be a sound of revival in our nation. Our nation needs a great revival. Zechariah 1:3 says, “Therefore say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts, “Return to Me,” declares the Lord of hosts, “that I may return to you,” says the Lord of hosts.” Some nations that were vibrant for God before have gone cold. There are so many laws in many nations that do not align with the law of God. Meanwhile, God can not condone sin. When the whole world sinned against God, He destroyed the whole world by the flood. Also, when the Sodom and Gomorrah allowed immorality to be the order of the day, God destroyed the nation with fire. However, when the city of Nineveh sinned against God but later repented, God forgave the land and averted the pending danger.
God’s desire for nations is for them to return back to him. He said this several times to the nation of israel. Hosea 14:1-2 says, “Return, O Israel, to the Lord your God, for you have stumbled because of your iniquity. Take words with you and return to the Lord. Say to Him, “Take away all iniquity and receive us graciously, that we may present the fruit of our lips.” God does not want the nations of the earth to be involved in idolatry. Although many nations have gone astray, yet God wants us to return back to Him. When Jesus was teaching the disciples how to pray, one of the prayer lines says that God’s will should be done on earth as it is in heaven. That is God’s perfect will for every nation on earth.
We Need Sound Of Revival In Our Nation
We have seen some situations in the scripture where some cities rejected Jesus. For instance, He could not do much miracles in His hometown because they rejected Him. Matthew 11:20 says, “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.” Many nations today are still under a curse because they have rejected Jesus. Darkness is ruling in many nations because they have despised Jesus and forsaken Him. However, there can still be a national revival in our nations.
God wants nations and cities to be saved. Jesus instructed the disciples to capture the city of Jerusalem for God. He told them that they should move to Samaria, Judea and to the uttermost part of the world after capturing Jerusalem. God expects a sound of revival in all the nations of the earth. If you will stand in the gap for your nation, God can still save that nation. Just like God used Moses to save the nation of Israel from the bondage in Egypt, God is counting on you and I. So, let us pray that there will be a sound of revival in our nation.

“From the days of your fathers you have turned aside from My statutes and have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you,” says the Lord of hosts. “But you say, ‘How shall we return?’
5. Father, I pray that this nation will remember where she has fallen. I pray that this nation will repent and turn back to you. Father, I pray that the lampstand of this nation will not be removed. Lord, let there be a sound of revival in this nation.
Revelation 2:5
Therefore remember from where you have fallen, and repent and do the deeds you did at first; or else I am coming to you and will remove your lampstand out of its place—unless you repent.
6. Father, I pray that there will be a genuine repentance in my nation. I pray that the people will turn from their wicked ways and return to you. Father, let there be a sound of revival in this nation in Jesus’ name.
Joel 2:12-13
“Yet even now,” declares the Lord, “Return to Me with all your heart, and with fasting, weeping and mourning; And rend your heart and not your garments.” Now return to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger, abounding in lovingkindness and relenting of evil.
7. Father, I pray that this nation will seek you and find you. Lord, I pray that everyone in this nation will search for you with all of their hearts and souls in Jesus’ name. Father, I pray for a sound of revival in this nation
Deuteronomy 4:29
But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul.
8. Father, I pray that the people of this nation will return to you and obey you with all their heart in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that you will draw the heart of both youngs and olds in this nation to you in Jesus’ names
Deuteronomy 30:2-3
“And you return to the Lord your God and obey Him with all your heart and soul according to all that I command you today, you and your sons, then the Lord your God will restore you from captivity, and have compassion on you, and will gather you again from all the peoples where the Lord your God has scattered you.
9. Father, I pray that you will give the people of this nation the heart to know you. I pray that everyone will return to you with their whole heart in Jesus’ name. Father, I pray that there will be a sound of revival in this nation in Jesus’ name
Jeremiah 24:7
I will give them a heart to know Me, for I am the Lord; and they will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me with their whole heart.
10. Father, I pray that this nation will seek you and find you. Lord, I pray that you will restore the glory of this nation in Jesus’ name
Jeremiah 29:13-14
You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you,’ declares the Lord, ‘and I will restore your fortunes and will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you,’ declares the Lord, ‘and I will bring you back to the place from where I sent you into exile.’
11. Father, I pray that all the unbelievers in this nation will return back to God in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that all the idol worshippers will desist from idolatry and they will worship God only in Jesus’ name
Acts 19:18-19
Many also of those who had believed kept coming, confessing and disclosing their practices. And many of those who practiced magic brought their books together and began burning them in the sight of everyone; and they counted up the price of them and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.
12. Father, I pray that all those whom their love has waxed code in this nation will return to their first love in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that there will be a sound of revival in this nation in Jesus’ name
Ezra 10:1
Now while Ezra was praying and making confession, weeping and prostrating himself before the house of God, a very large assembly, men, women and children, gathered to him from Israel; for the people wept bitterly.
13. Father, I pray that you will give the unbelievers new hearts in Jesus’ name. Lord, I pray that you will put your Spirit within them and take away the hearts of flesh. Lord, I pray for a sound of great revival in this nation in Jesus’ name
Ezekiel 11:19
And I will give them one heart, and put a new spirit within them. And I will take the heart of stone out of their flesh and give them a heart of flesh
14. Father, I pray that you will put your law in the heart of everyone in this nation. Lord, I pray that you will be our God and let us be your people. Father, I pray that everyone will know you and acknowledge you as God in Jesus’ name
Jeremiah 31:33-34
“But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” declares the Lord, “I will put My law within them and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. They will not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares the Lord, “for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.”
15. Father, I pray that you will teach us your ways in this nation. Lord, I pray that everyone in this nation will walk in your paths. Father, I pray that your law will be our wachword in this nation in Jesus’ name
Micah 4:2
Many nations will come and say, “Come and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord and to the house of the God of Jacob, that He may teach us about His ways and that we may walk in His paths.” For from Zion will go forth the law, even the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
